boss i encourage you to read books about marcos and about martial law during his time. naa man daghan references online. i was fortunate enough to read books about this during college. naa man daghan books about this sa public library, although im not sure if naa pa ang public library sa cebu. but i had looked it up sa USC ug UC nga library before.

When i talked about crimes its not about those high publicity sensitives issues but rather overall crime rate.
Robbery, Theft, Rape, Murder etc. happen all the time but the important thing is consistent reduction of crime annually.

If a president can consistently do that then he did a good job. A good analogy is an NBA player, someone who can consistently score 10pts per game is better than someone who score 50pts on one game and sleep on the next 10 games (very unreliable).


I'm not even asserting that we should align our economic policies with the US. It looks like you want to defend Dutertes policies and im not even attacking it. What im saying is we know a president made good economic policies because it will reflect to GDP.

Calamties cannot be prevented but what im saying is "minimizing economic losses" which is possible thats why we have National Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Council (NDRRMC) which is accountable to the president.

Political turmoil usually begins when when a presidents popularity rating drop less than 50%. This is where military may consider Coup d'etat. And if that happens you will always all the time no exemption see a drop in gdp.

Using GDP as a gauge on how well the country is managed is Not perfect But no other method is better.
