love the book...but i have to 'reread" it.
had it in our english class during my high school days. i remember nga dunay duha ka klase sa cover ana nga book with slight differences in the passages within the pages. i think morag naapil sa differences ang number of sunsets kay ang original was 43 something while the other was 44 (?). di ko sure.
after discussing the entire book in class, we then watched it on film to better picture it out. medyo naganahan ko sa film bisag may pagka-musical kay the more nakasabot ko. touching kaayo ang ending.

love this book. laglom kaayo ang mga passages. hehe.
How can i ever forget this gem of a book? This is one of my two all time fav, the other is "Jonathan Livingstone Seagull,' by Richard Bach. I read this book back in college, i being an English major. at first i lacked interest, since the first parts are just simple words for me. not until i have read it towards the middle portion that i began to read agin the first pages since it has caught my attention already. i very much agree that there are so many lessons to be learned and to be applied from this book. the little prince is a profound character, very introspective, very feeling and very wise in his observations about life, love and all there is to it in the world. but what struck me most is his view on love, wherein he said, and i quote "perhaps love is my leading you back to yourself." if only all people could love like this.Originally Posted by thisbe.ara

here's some line in my memory lane...............
"What is essential is invisible in the eye"
"Sometimes a lie is the best thing"
"All men have stars but they dont have the same meaning..For the travellers stars are their guide, for the wealthy people stars are their wealths, for the scholars are their problems, but for ordinary people like us stars are our hopes....."
"You are different because I have tamed you"
haaaay...its so philosophical that can bite you real enough!
Well,
I didn't like the book all that much.....
But I agree, grown-ups can be so naive, ignorant, know-it-alls...
I'm an 11 year old, and I hope when I turn 20 and further, I won't become like one o' them arrogant, contentious and depraved pricks.
Beware, grown-ups your life expectancy isn't growing any longer than you are...
Adults. Bleh!
Hello,
medyo taud2 nko dri but i don't know where to go. What topic nga malingaw ko.
Anyway this is book is really nice. Dugay nman ni siya. It's kinda sad. This really talks reality.
they finally discovered what happened to the author, i read sometime ago that they found the remains of his plane some miles off the coast of marseilles, he was a reconnaissance pilot in the 2nd world war and had dissappeared without a trace. so now we know how he met his fate..
