na na NBI na jud to si Hatfield, dili na ganahan moduwa basketball, lain nga basketball ang giasikaso..hehehe..napuno ug role players ang Alaska who can step up big time if needed niya dili kaayo laog sa spotlight, guys like Hugnatan, Ferriols and Laure..SMB? lig-on sad pero dili ko impressed sa ila frontcourt with only Ildefonso ang nabilin nga reliable big man, naay promise si Eman but that remains to be seen..Espinas has not lived up to his hype, PeƱa is out injured, Dynamite Danny prefers to play outside and Enrico Villanueva is lost in that SMB system

I'd expect someone, specifically one of SMB's big men, to step up this season now that Dorian PeƱa is out for a year.

at least Gabby Espinas will have a chance to redeem his so-so showing in the PBA, thsi could be the break he is waiting for

Gabby Espinas can have some more time to really show himself off this season. With Ildefonso and PeƱa last season, expected jud nga limited iyang playing time. But he's shown some brilliance during his rookie season. He grabbed 15 rebounds one time and had a couple of games where he had a decent scoring and rebounding nights. Though a lot smaller and thinner than PeƱa, Espinas is more versatile and is a more able offensive player. But Espinas will share it along with Enrico Villanueva and Samigue Eman and regular starters Danny Ildefonso and Danny Seigle. Still not really bad for San Miguel.

^^ Murag wala ma'y news regarding Welcoat's interest on Villanueva, and I think it won't materialize. Welcoat has nothing good to offer SMB, not unless if they're willing to give up either DeVance, Belasco or Wainwright or any of their future draft picks. Nevertheless, basig magamitan na ni si Villanueva labi na si Tanquincen na ang coach sa SMB. He might have needed some time to familiarize and fit in to SMB's system after being with Red Bull for a long time. Villanueva is a known "SMB-killer", labi na gyud tong iyang gisiko si Ildefonso. Now that he's playing alongside Ildefonso, he feels his services is no longer valuable.

ahahahaha...Coke could well use Villanueva's bulk, although they have bulked up their frontcourt with the acquisition of Telan I see only 3 legit big men in teir lineup so Rico would be a good addition but question is what will Coke offer that can spice up the interest for the Beermen? If they are not giving up big men, SMB might demand for Arigo or Cabagnot

As an SMB fan, di ko mosugot nga basta basta lang mokuha ug players ang SMB. . SMB's got a handful of players lately and later just sends them away because they hardly fit either Chot Reyes' or Siot Tanquincen's system. Well established PBA players such as Rommel Adducul, Brandon Cablay, Lordy Tugade and lately Enrico Villanueva never clicked with SMB considering that all of them are potential starters and stars of other teams. It could be because SMB is relying and focusing too much on their very own stars in Danny Seigle, Danny Ildefonso and Dondon Hontiveros or it could be that di gyud sila kauyon sa SMB system. Kung ako lang, I'd give up any of them for a role player rather than a star player of the other team. Harvey Carey of Talk N' Text is the first player that comes to my mind. A good proposal could be Tugade for Carey. SMB gets a quality role and hustle player, TnT gets an able wingman who could play along Alapag, Ritualo and Cardona. But a more better proposition is Carey for Villanueva, teaming up the former Ateneo star with his UAAP rivals Don Allado and Renren Ritualo. Unsa kaha'y resulta ani.
