mmm...i guesss a lot of factors have to be considered...maturity of the person, intensity of the relationship, emotional investment and what else....i really think it does not necessarily hinder but somehow having a gf/bf takes part in molding you to become the kind of person that one has become...

factors to consider usa lang.. just simply understand him.. if he/she can't.. drop him.. love can wait and love understands... but emotionaly driven g/b can't understand this.. because their stuck on the idea that.. if you wanted to be happy..follow ur heart.. misleading! in short " bahala ug saging basta labing"

may i ask why you find spontaneous dumb? no spontaneity at all can be so dull and boring too you know. and personally, we really cannot tell for sure how much is controllable. there are some cases wherein we really have 0% control na jud. what would you do when that circumstance happens? its moments like these that i'd just jump in and see what happens next.. intuitively..

i believe understanding is a progressive process. its not contained in just a single point in time. sometimes, he/she can't understand you now, but in the future, maybe he/she can. love is not a one way street. love also entails that we help others understand us. diba?
