Who gets hired and work in a Call Center?

Ask lang ko mga bro, Is anyone of you here work in a call center for 10 years na Just asking ha.... or call center is just a new company pa lang....

Well was a management trainee and was rotated to manufacturing, retail, airline and now real estate for the conglomerate that I work for. FYI, I just assumed this post six months ago as part of my intra-conglomerate promotion. So it's not like I grew in the industry from the very start.

Pardon the English asÂ* my hands type faster than my thoughts hence the typo, spelling errors. I'll try to do edit them from now on. Anyway, it's not a slugfest of who earns more and which industy is more mature than the rest.

What's important is that the Call Center industry is giving people a chance both in Cebu and Manila an opportunity not only to good employment prospects but more importantly a career ladder to climb up. Since the industry is new, its easier to get promoted and move up.

By the way, you don't have to post all your achievements coz we didn't ask for it! You don't even know what positions we're holding in a call center. I mean, it's nice that you're earning MORE (pagbigyan na lang) but you don't have to mention that working here is a sad thing and stuff like that. Your arrogance is what we abhor.

Hahay here's the logic:

Claimed Level Standard of Education:

UP Dil, ATENEO, LASALLE is equal to USC, USJ-R, UP Cebu

The difference?

Grads of UP Dil, ATENEO, LASALLE will most probably NOT work or WANT to work in a CALL CENTER.

On the otherhand Grads of USC, USJ-R, UP Cebu will most probably WANT to work in ca CALL CENTER.

Same level of educational standards, different career aspirations. ok include nako UP ug San Beda if you. Sorry lang ha, kay only people from the school's I've mentioned ang naka interact nako sa work and daily activities diri. And yup, most people from these schools wouldn't be caught dead in a call center (which means to say I'm not from the industry too).

Question lang ang ka at par anang La Salle, Ateneo, UP sa Cebu di ba San Carlos (am Carolinian), USJ-R, UP Cebu-- then they in Cebu would want to work in a call center? Ka sad ana uy, for sure there are other fields where can be better employed.

So ni-a raman diay ni imong TARONG na explanation sa imong gusto e-express.. I guess it's not hard for you to express what you want to say in a very respectable and in a way na walay ma-offend.. Â*kindly review what you've sed before and the way that you've react the previous post.. I guess being humble makes a BIG difference.. If you think you are successful enough you can boast it to people in many different ways not by humiliating and saying some bad things about people who are below your level.. Ive been in the corporate ladder before, it did not work well for me..I needed a job where there is fun and at the same time naay career dev'l..

Murag 5-7 years pa man tingali ang call center industry. Not sure though.

acctualy dili man unta ko ganahan mo work sa call center, not bcoz of the grave yard shift..but
