I love hanging out with winners coz I'm a loser.

I don't mind the presence of the foriegners coz I know my place in the sun. And I know what I can do if I get hold of there equipment considering they're very willing to share it or allow their students to use it.
kadtong naka adto sa BErlinale, si Arleen Cuevas? unya sa cinemalya, si Kris Villarino noh?

maayoha ana nila oi...di na sila ma reach...

pero don't think naman you're a loser...think naman you're being aprrenticed with the masters!!!!

It seems a lot of people here think you don't need to go to a film school to study filmmaking.

When I was in high school I learn a lot from the dialogues with my classmates, reading books in the library and sharing stuff with my classmates and instructors. It can only happen in a school.

I think the quality of learning depends on what kind of student you are.

Besides I wanna get my hands on a MAC. I believe that PC and MAC have there strong points and I wanna utilize both.

Where else can I have the MAC training at a price?

For all the naysayers ofÂ* IAFTA, why don't you just try it?

    Maybe even just one workshop?

Being around like-minded people and playing with all those wonderful toys .

If filmmaking truly is your passion, then this prospect surely excites!

    Make somethin' happen!

Sure it does! I'm in love with their graphite-finished camera....

but so is R/Brey in here who keeps whacking off about it.. (sorry if I've gotten too vulgar there)

Nope. In fact Flame Alchemist (cos he was schooled in a MUCH cheaper department - the sound design workshop) not a diploma course says he still hasn't gotten paid for being the sound man in a national full feature production and he says "We have a retarded industry".

I don't think you can land a job right away. Maay pa mag nursing na lang or accounting (many opportunities) but maybe I just assume too much.

But 200 grand worth of a diploma for a condensed 1 year course (people are looking for 4 year courses!) does no justice to the customer.
