tab 2.0 7" is around 9K+ right now. if you're willing to shell out additional 3K+, go with the Nexus 7. best value for your money.

i wonder kung unsa siya ka "slow". slow as in mora rag single core?

because that would be awful. some uninformed people are already expecting this to be faster than the dual-cores. but i know that wouldn't happen because of the CPU. but i would have expected it to be at least on par with a typical dual-core

from the looks of that review, it seems like it might even be slower than a typical dual-core device (never mind if i'm comparing it to phones). my Samsung Galaxy S2 never had any significant slowdowns in the UI response. even the Cherry Mobile Titan demo unit (with 512MB RAM) that i tried before doesn't feel slow

it doesn't mean quad-core, pas-pas na gyud kaayo na siya.. there are so many other factors to consider.
apps for an instance; there are apps that are optimized or worst only runs on 1 or 2 cores - this is just like the cpu of PCs before. GPUs are also a factor, CPU + GPU combination is also a factor, RAM size, ug uban pa..

this tab is an entry-low low mid level with a 4K price tag (maytag dili mosaka same sa flare) - payts na kaayo ni oi. not to mention you will have warranty from cherry mobile, battery support puhon, chances of having good geek support.. asa ka pa.

you didn't read the entirety of my posts. i said that i'm aware this quad-core doesn't automatically mean that it is VERY fast. i even said that in my first post in this thread

ang akong punto is kung kani nga quad-core kay mora rag single-core ang dating based on the posted review, that sounds rather uninspiring. i've held dual-core CHINESE tablets and i wouldn't describe these tablets as SLOW or laggy in terms of UI performance

KAMAWN! quad-core nga SLOW? that doesn't sound good to me. it means that there's something wrong either with the hardware or the firmware itself. i would have expected that a low-end quad-core would at least perform like a typical dual-core used by Chinese tablets, NOT too stuttery, laggy, slow, etc.

heck a single-core Samsung Galaxy S doesn't even feel slow as far as UI is concerned. but the review from Unbox seem to indicate that the Fusion is indeed rather slow even from a UI perspective. they didn't said that when they reviewed another tablet like the Chinese Pipo S1 (dual core). so hearing that Fusion review is disappointing and concerning

ug ma quad core unya 1ghz ang speed slow gihapon na, but it can have stable speed when doing many tasks.. meaning if there are multiple cores it aims to stabilize performance during multitasking, no speed increase..

mas paspas ang single core nga 3.3ghz kaysa quad core nga 1.6 ghz lang if using only 1 light application, but if daghan or bug at na ang tasks mas stable ang quadcore
