there's no end to these series. there other game versions that i don't like and there are some that i like as well. Sometimes the designs of the pokemon are good and at times they are just plain creepy. I gotta say the concept in pokemon diamond/pearl/platinum is best one so far. I had mixed emotions at black/white and I don't know about x and y still haven't played the game yet.

mostly hybrid looking in the new generations or just a similar remake of another pokemon.

all pokemon games have always been on handheld, they have been the constant top seller on every nintendo handheld ever!

Yeah. except on the DS. NSMB managed to outsell Pokemon.

A topic about a new pokemon game is not complete without the “the pokemon are getting worse” lines. It’s always present in every topic for a new Pokemon game. Every.

There’s no problem in expressing one’s preference, but one should also take into consideration that there were also “bad” designs in previous generations.

Why end it? when, 1. it is selling consistently well. 2. the market still shows strong interest in the series. I haven’t played every game each generation (skipped some gens), but the quality in these game are consistently good.

And that’s what’s good about the series. Having each generation independent from their predecessors makes it easy for old fans/ new fans to get in/out of the series. I personally think the diamond/pearl/platinum generation is when the game started showing franchise fatigue. The difference they are making in Black/ White and X/Y is a timely change.

Because Game Freak not developing a Pokemon game does not make sense at all.

tell me, why would they not be making the next Pokemon Game, when Game Freak owns a part of the Pokemon IP?

and why so defensive? I simply asked for more details about the contract you mentioned. Maybe you know some insider information and you can enlighten us.

Although ang studio ang nag create sa POKEMON, it doesn't mean nga sila ang naay rights to publish them, it's Nintendo after-all. So if dli mo renew ang gamefreak, Nintendo will try to hire different studio to create another pokemon.

Game Freak doesn't have to renew anything. They own a part of the Pokemon IP, not just Nintendo.

Any decision made on the Pokemon IP is not only made by Nintendo, but by the Pokemon Company as a whole, which Game Freak is a part of.
