I think You're wrong, more than 75 percent think that election is the time to earn instant money, in short more than 75 percent of the voters are being bought by the politicians, if you go to the provinces this figure could up to 99 percent of the voters.

IMO naa pay chance ang pinas uy. don't be so negative. IMO england, before it began industrial revolution may have thought also about someday england will be a world power amidst corruption and aristocracy and nobility, and look unsa na ang UK karon. ang difference lang karon ug sauna is because mas globalize ug hitech na ang kalibutan karon. maong hayahay sila coz they were born ahead of us. IMO basin dugay dugay pa na masulti nato na pwerte na gyud datoa sa pinas but at this point, dili pa siguro. kanya-kanyang panahon lang yan. At first panahon to sa England pero eventually naapsan siya sa France, Germany ug Italy pero after the two world wars ang US ug Russia napud ang nipuli. Gulong ng Palad ra gyud na. Minsan nasa Itaas at minsan nasa ibaba.

Yes, I believe we still have a chance at it. This is because the Filipino people are a hopeful people. Hope can drive us out of the rut we're in.

It may take a long time because our problems are sort of ingrained in our culture.
