Wifi APs with hidden SSID does not hide its MAC address does it?
Trust you are familar with wireshark & aireplay-ng?

Para dili ni ma-close nga thread, you are right i don't know wireshark & aireplay-ng or the whole suite of aircrack-ng.
If this thread will be eventually closed, it will not be because of me.

Btw my notebook is always looking for our wifi network with hidden ssid basta madisconnect siya. It was configured to auto connect to its network, bisan naa ko sa mall or layo nga dapit sige lang gihapon siya ug pangita sa iyang wifi network. Paita ani kay iya man noon isinggit ang AP SSID.
Mao sad ni kng i-deauth ta unya gipaminawan lang diay ta.

dali ra migo basta WEP imong security.pwde ra ma hack gamit ios or android hahahaha..unless kung WPA2-psk mas secured sya.ned jud na expert og khbaw mo run sa backtrack and aircrack-ng pra ma crack and using linux..pwde man sa windows pero ned pod kag external wireless na compatible sa backtrax para dali ang generates sa key to make encryption action and takes a lot of time to crack wpa2-psk I think pinakadali 8hrs hahaha. mas maayo para secure tga adlaw nlng ka change

IMO just encrypt using WPA2 with strong password. Hiding SSID will only raise suspicions sa mga hackers. Even Microsoft does not encourage hidden SSID. You are not any safer hiding your network SSID.
