I did Yoga 4years ago out of curiosity and with no other purpose but to amused myself if i can do the asanas shown on the glossy mag and btw, my favorite sting and supermodel christy turlington was doing it...i backslide after few basic session because ofcourse my curiosity ddint get me anywhere...fast forward 2006Â* i longed for something that was missing, something i couldnt find in my church...an inner search from within..i found myself reading books and learning from other peoples experience .i did ample research and found myself back to the road of Yoga and Meditation...practicing with much gusto, in depth understanding and awareness...ive learned my lesson and has matured on that department. Grateful that Yoga has accepted me back, its never too late to come to NOW and realize fully what brings your life meaning. There has beenÂ* alot of misconceptions about Yoga and some of it i read on this thread...and its nobody's fault. One needs proper education to fully understand what it does and enjoy its benefits. Yoga is not just about the position/asanas..its a lifestyle...philosophy...something that you manifest through good deeds, pleasant thoughts , healthy vibes, positivity that leads to greater service
You have to actually experience it to understand it...Goodluck to those who are searching!
