im working in beijing, china. i've been to shanghai (nice city but too crowded and expensive), hangzhou (if u go there, u shud visit west lake, the best!), inner mongolia (the grassland and the desert), xi'an (terracota warriors), hongkong, and too many to mention. hehehe=)

getting a visa in hongkong is very easy but i think it's more expensive than getting it in the phils.
