Learn from this. Take note that banning plastic is also happening abroad. It's not a Philippines-only trend.
Think of the danger and waste that happens when plastic enters rivers, oceans and other natural resources.

Good...I'm always optimistic for change...It has to start somewhere..
it's very difficult to imagine life without plastics coz we are very well used to it..banning it is a challenge for all of us..
with regards to paper, i heard used tissue can also be recycled? gross right?
but we have to take the challenge for mother earth's sake..and for our sake too
^that's the attitude!
oh....so mao diay ning HYPE ron. going GREEN. hahahaha. hipsters gonna ride on the bandwagon.
well, there is nothing wrong with it. i just HOPE nga i-implement na nila CONSISTENTLY...and not just within a short span of time. basin pakit-ang tao lang ning ilaha. that's my concern.
hasn't this been an issue years ago? 2012 na lang...karon pa nikisaw?

if i were a plastic, i'd curse on these humans. mga ingrato.

anyways, tinuod na nakabutang sa uban plastic nga biodegradable? maybe we can't totally get rid of plastics but we can change its "genetics" to complement the environment
need to change our habits,when going to the wet market?why dont we bring our own Bag?then we wash it and clean it when we go home..change must come from ourselves..look,if we dont do it, time will come when this plastics will clog all our waterways..and how many water creatures will perish coz of these..
@labyrinthbw
hala boss, basin na offend ka sa 'hipsters' ha...hehehe. that was intended to officials/government who have suddenly laid interest on it...again. dili man gud consistent maong dili na katuohan. basin drama2 lang nang ilaha ba...nanimahong politika. haha
like you said, banning plastics won't be an easy thing...which i agree.
i think banning it would not be the right solution.
