On Illustrator... you can convert your files to Adobe Photoshop in layers...

As more than 15 yrs experienced in Graphic Design industry.... Adobe illustrator is the best tool for logo creation. Ok pud ang Adobe Photoshop but there is a big disadvantage.... you cannot convert "Raster graphics" to "Vector". Most of the company in the US always ask for the vector graphics when it comes to logo business cards, etc... no idea here PH if we have standards.

while we can work "what-seem-to-be-vectors-but-not" designs on photoshop, it's not really a standard thing to do, 'coz while photoshop is a great software, it's not really meant to work on vector graphics, i mean it's easy doing vectors in that software but to finalize the design you need to work/convert it down ngadto sa mga vector softwares like AI and Corel.. 'coz photoshop can't never create true vector files..

OT: dli IDIOT ang Adobe para mo himo'g AI if makaya ra sa PS ang mga works sa AI.. think about it, it has its own advantages and disadvantages.

For me Logo and other vector graphics, AI is the go to guy. lahi ra gyud ang resulta sa AI ug PS, well pwede ka mogamit ug Shape tool sa photoshop and that's it.
