Nice fish Ms. Beau, its a pretty fish nice colors. Wala pa ko kakita ana nga isda. Giunsa na ug luto mora Sarsiado? looks yummy kaayo. Thaniks for sharing...share some more pa.

wa pa siguro ka katilaw ani mai...tinabal is actually salted fish murag bagoong. matud pa sa akong mga katigulangan, mao jud ni ang pirming ibaligya didto sa bukid kay fresh fish would spoil man di ba and wala transportation magbaktas man ang mga tindera so everything was salted. i remember my lola telling me that every meal nila sa una naa juy ginamos or tinabal, then paresan ug utan las-ay or manok. maynalang karon with better transportation maka fresh fish na jud ang mga naa sa bukid.

VISAYAN SALTED/FERMENTED FISH (TINABAL)
Tinabal may be classified under fermented products; however, the fish retains its original shape, so its under salting. It is a popular product in the Visayan region particularly in Leyte. The most commonly used species for this product are parrot fish and frigate tuna. Tinabal is consumed as a main dish added to vegetables, or fried and sauteed with tomatoes after freshening for three to four hours with constant changing of water.

never part of the traditional christmas feast but for you balikbayans this could very well replace the christmas ham hehehe...perteng ganaha sa kaon kung naay tinabal!

ako wishlist not much of material things hmmmm wala man siguro ko wish hala kalain pud walay wish magwish nalang for the heck:

1. portable dvd player (so i can watch my yoga burn dvd anywhere)
2. a very nice expensive digital camera (kay hagbay rang naguba ang akoa)
3. di ko mo wish ug ticket to cebu b kay kebaw kong di ko kauli teheh
4. i need a hair straight bad
5. good health for my babies
6. enough sources to provide for their needs (sources gyud kay ako dili paman ko major source teheh)
7. peace of mind for me and my love
8. good health for me too and a prosperous 2007 and of course for my b too
