you are just quoting it as mercy killing but it's the patient's choice, you are not showing mercy at all.
it's immoral for the ones not suffering, the patient has a choice.

actually, if mo-labang ka nga naa'y dakong trak, patay gyud ka.....testingi.... you will know that you have part-control of your life...........and you have the option to end it anytime you can and want to.....look around you.....a lot of suicides.....

I'm sure its not new to anyone anymore that euthanasia is illegal to most countries do you think its about time to legalize euthanasia?

When i was doing my hospital internship, I have spoken to many cancer patients,aged patients that want to end their lives. They have been begging to end their lives cause for them they have had enough of the pain and suffering and not to mention its an emotional torture for their families to see them in pain. . I had a jewish patient who even went to switzerland because thats the only country that permits assisted suicide.

according to the patient's family they reckon if one of their family members got very ill and they wanna die, its their right to rest in peace because whats life if your just full of suffering,when you cant enjoy it anymore and worst,when your no longer the same person as you were?

so do you think that we should legalize euthanasia in philippines? YES OR NO?

if i were to ask,i would like to legalize euthanasia,its not being sadistic. i think that if you are surely going to die it doesnt make sense to prolong your agony, I WANT A QUICK DEATH. i dont wanna be in bed, waiting for my last breath and I dont want pity and my loved ones feeling my pain.

NOTE: i know some people will disagree to this esp those religious people cause taking one's life is a sin, so please try to be open minded lang diri ha? lets have a healthy discussion about this topic and not make this thread a battlefield.

so its not possible in philippines because of the church?alot of religious people will be against this?
