You can be elaborate yet still stick to the topic.

There are dozens of other sections in iStorya.net where you can discuss similar ideas without having to worry about the mod getting into nerves, and one of them is General Discussions.

It sucks to be conscious and smart when you can't properly interact with what you are being conscious about. Ain't it?
Also, and I quote de Grey
This is absolutely not a matter of keeping people alive in a bad state of health," he told Reuters
This is about preventing people from getting sick as a result of old age

But de Grey says that's not what he's working for. Keeping the killer diseases of old age at bay is the primary focus.
As far as source topic is concerned, it's about preserving the flesh and being YOUNG.

for this reason alone, living forever is not practical and sustainable. good observation bro

living forever is not very practical lalo na dumadami ang mga inhabitants ng earth..
imagine the population now and the population 10 years from now if people are to live forever..

siguro maganda kung mabuhay tayo hanggang sa kaya natin gumawa ng things on our own?
i guess for me i wanted to see my children and grandchildren doing well before leaving this temporary life

I think we can't eradicate the insertion of the topic about "being young" on a topic of "living forever" since the two will always be on side-by-side no matter how we put it.

question, what are the possible living conditions on a space faring people? like do we eat or something? Because as far as 'im concerned, if we ever to live forever, we will evolve in the conditions of our planet like that of iceage before and time comes that the sun will consume earth.

I guess it's because no one here ever thinks of "living forever" in the form of data, rather than in "flesh" form, akin to how Robinette Broadhead continued to live far into the future in Frederick Pohl's "Annals of the Heechee" novel.

living forever in a form of "data" is not really an ideal way for "humans" at least to some, i mean does one really enjoy being alive in a form of like we say a brain but no more physical body to interact with other people? It is simply not living.. the way I see it, is that the person being the "data" does not really benefit from it but rather the people who are taking advantage of the information/data. But this is just my thought.. living forever does not really the way nature intends us in this planet.. only changes, but then again maybe there could be changes that one could live forever..in form of "data" since physical form whether we like it or not will eventually give way.

OT: Suddenly i remember the movie avatar.. if you have watched the movie you understand what Im saying.. far fetch but anyway just a movie.
