many years back, a friend of mine niadto sa US with family and they went to an upscale resto known for steaks and his younger brother ordered a USDA prime beef but well done.

A few minutes later naay nagyawyaw ug nigawas tong usa ka chef ug nangasaba sa table nila. Sacrilege daw. Know your beef daw. hahahhaa. After that wala na gyud sila nag well done.

But it depends pod asa ka mukaon...kay kong kanang pa steak-steak kuno at P100-200+/ serving....aw thats really not a good grade of beef. medium well cguro ko ani. Pero if steak house or hotels or restos gyud na serving high grade beef. rare-medium rare gyud. but i still have to develop a liking for steak tartare....maybe soon heheheh

Yes to this. I'm glad the chef said something, others will just roll their eyes. I don't understand people who go to expensive steak houses and order their steaks well done. If you want well done, you can just as well go to cheap restaurants. You wont be able to tell the difference. It's going to be dry and chewy.

....if you are paying for it then have it cooked the way you like it, not based on how others like it.....medium rare for me.....

medium rare for ako sad. pina ka lami. if you know the restaurant well and its well known for steak. mg rare ko.
