try sa Chika-an sa Cebu @ The Northwing, SM City Cebu or sa Golden Cowrie Restaurant @ Salinas cor La Guardia, Lahug.

i'd also recommend Cafe Laguna

Pino is in Lahug, they specialize in Filipino cuisine presented in a stylized manner... for example, their kare kare is served in 2 dishes, with one flat dish holding vegetables in peanut sauce and the other square deep dish holding the meat with most of the sauce, and of course a small container for the requisite bagoong...

when you order, they give you 3 small containers with crispy spicy dilis, mixed pickles and tapa (free of charge, to munch on while you wait for your order to be served)

their baked scallops and kinilaw makes for a good appetizer course, their crispy pata is a bit bland for my taste, and the chicken galantina not as good as I had hoped...I would recommend the lengua

and grilled tuna belly, though...

both are yummy...

they have fried ice cream (which has mango ice cream wrapped in bread reminiscent of the taste of binangkal), although the halo halo (at P200) would probably be a better choice
