@RMK711 - ininglesa sir basin di kasabot TS. aussie baya.
I realise the DSP is not free money but the UN charter on the disabled quotes that any disabled person from ANY country should not be limited on where he spends his money or where he can travel. The law the aussie govt are trying to implement contravenes this. Also it is only to save the aussie govt 3million pesos. It will cost the govt more by bringing these people back to australia with thier filipino families...
DSP recipients in australia get alot more govt 'freebies' than they get whilst overseas.
the new rules (if implemented) will cost the aussie govt more...
if they are implemented I will be taking my wife and kids back to australia and stop the book program. At least ive done some good here and may be able to continue it when we retire here when I'm 67. (if I'm still capable and they dont stop OLP (old aged pensions living abroad)...
but i do respect your opinion and applaud you for answering in English, salamat!
kung mahal ang cost of living didto, that's another issue. ang issue is those receiving pensions, must return to australia at specific span of time otherwise mahunong ila pension. that's an australian government prerogative. ngano ari man magpalaban sa mga pinoy, kung sila mga aussie elders apektado, sila ang mag welga didto. that's conflict of interest kung mag apil2x ta.
wa gani ta ka sulbad ani atong kaugalingong problema diri, manghilabot naman hinoon ta sa wa tay labot.
My translation of your message isnt too good but i think you said my wife may be lazy.
We are not rich like alot of foreigners (or filipinos with housemaids).
someone previously said maybe my wife is lazy. shes not. We have 3 kids, she works with rotary, she helps with the book program and has to look after me when my health is bad.
shes definately NOT lazy.
if we do go to Australia she will be working there-
not that that is anyone elses business. this post is about stopping the aussie govt from changing the portability rules for people on DSP.
Stopping the new rule being applied will save the aussie govt money and wont seperate husbands on DSP from thier families...
by the way there is nothing wrong with working at McDo... i respect all workers.
well, like they always say "all good things come to an end", pero relaks lang TS, i know you will figure out a way, saon na lang imong tabang sa mga less fortunates. Maybe you can send a letter of plea to the aussie gov't to reconsider your case. Or maybe they have a reach out program to other nations pwede ka magpaapil... be optimistic lang..
The thread title is really unfair for the Australian government.
I have relatives in Australia but i have not heard of it.
