OT: This is the difference between Canon and Nikon. Canon drops old and loyal friends in the long run to make money. Nikon, on the other hand, maintains and sustains endless support of its customers - long and new. This is the reason I switched to Nikon after using Canon for more than a decade and I have never looked back nor regretted that decision to switch. To compliment a long true friend, just say to him, "You're a true Nikon!".

But I just found out that Nikon's new mirrorless cameras can't use the DSLR lenses without an adapter. I guess it's because of the nuisances of mirrorless cameras? I haven't truly read up on these things yet although I don't think I'll be buying one anytime soon. Got too many cameras already - if you can call one point and shoot, one DSLR, and one film rangefinder (which I don't know would work or not until I get a battery and film for it) - many.

one thing i like about the mirrorless system is that i can shoot at very low shutter speed without worrying about that mirror-slap of dslr's that may not be felt by the user but actually contributes to the camera shake in taking the shot. i can take the shot in low light and still get a sharp photo pwera lang motion-blur sa subject
