by the way, can anybody tell if there's a difference between the hiligaynon in bacolod city and iloilo city since they're the two main hiligaynon-speaking cities in the country? i'm thinking there must be at least a slight difference just like the cebuano in cebu and the cebuano in cagayan de oro.

ang dog sa hiligaynon kay "ayam", sa ilonggo kay "ido", sa bisaya kay "iro".

nganong na inana man kno beh..... mas duol pman ang bisaya ug ilonggo ( sa dog lang nga example ha!)....

BCNHS, AMES win MassKara Street dance school category

Contingents from Apolinario Mabini Elementary School (AMES) impress judges and audiences by their splendid performance in their yellow motif costumes and props. AMES was adjudged champion in the elementary level of the MassKara Street Dancing-School Category.

BACOLOD City National High School (BCNHS) became the grand slam winner Friday in the MassKara Street Dancing Competition high school category after winning the championship trophy for the third consecutive year.

The BCNHS dancers won P30,000 cash prize aside from bagging most of the special awards as Best in Mask, Choreography and Call and Response, said Ransom Agui, documentations officer of the MassKara Foundation.

In the elementary category, Apolinario Mabini Elementary School (AMES) emerged as champion among seven competing schools and also went home with P30,000 cash prize.

AMES also grabbed four of the five special awards -- Best in Mask, Costume, Concept, and Choreography.

Following BCNHS were Luis Hervias National High School and Sum-ag National High School, as second and third placers, respectively.

Tailing behind Mabini ES were Education and Training Center School (ETCS II) and E.J. Garcia Elementary School as second and third placers, respectively.

The second placers won P20,000 in cash prize each while the third placers won P10,000.

Luis Hervias NHS won the Best in Costume while Sum-ag NHS was awarded Best in Concept. Luisa Medel NHS also participated in the competition.

In the elementary level, other participating schools were F.R. Flores ES, Montevista ES and J. Lopez Jaena ES and Abkasa ES, which won Best in Call and Response.
