you wont go wrong with the two leading brands, canon and nikon. but i prefer nikon


with that budget, you can get 40d(faster fps than 50d) or 50d for canon and d90 for nikon

nindot ma inlove-an ang D90 kay gwapo jud cya mu handle ug colors. even at green mode, nindot na kaayo imo pictures ana.

the only con sa d90 for me, is it's old. pero i hear women like older men. heheheheh.

seriously though, other than it's an old model, kana jud ang camera nga dapat nimo paliton.

if canon ka, 550D. 7D if you have the money. no less.

well said. passion is the most important aspect in photography. without it, you'll just be wasting your money be it a p&s or a dslr.

i'm not interested in buying it because it's "popular"
i want a dslr for my own purpose.. not to show off.
i do love taking pictures... but not to the point where i can say i have a "passion" for it.
whenever i see something beautiful, i do want to capture it.. but my digital can't perfectly do the job.. (not even close)..so i'm just wanting an upgrade..
i do want to take GOOD photographs..so, i want a camera that can help me LEARN.

If you can afford it, then the D90 paired with an 18-105mm kit or an 18-200mm is a very good choice. I learned with the D90 myself, and I think the camera helped fuel my passion. Just be sure to know the manual by heart.

cons? only the peeled thumb-rest due to a wetly finger of mine, lol! replaced with cow skin leather though now



with your beautiful face and this superb dslr? an alluring combo; that's you should not buy of, lol! ^^
