Only who knows this herbs and uses it would have the experience, but sad to say it is still to be discovered by science. Yeah, that talking snake as written will become very pronouced as the end of days would come.

Uhm, if I may, I believe the Roman Catholic church has already reconciled the two. To my knowledge, it is the only Christian church to have done so. The two keys (to me) to its having achieved this:

    1. The RC church does not have a literal interpretation of the first seven days.

    2. It has not taken the anti-evolution stance of many that we came from apes. (Darwin's theory says we have common ancestors, not that we came from apes). Rather, it sees evolution as a form of creation.

    - so all that happend in the bible stories are not meant literaly . like the following ..:

    - ressurection of lazarus or jessus .
    - separation of the red sea.
    - walking in water
    - changing water to wine.

    * all these miracle stuff dint really happen , but jus simply an interpretation from the message behind it?

Not everything in the bible is a factual account. Even Jesus spoke in parables.

To be clear, Catholics believe in the resurrection, etc. `nuff said.
