... funny how you guys condemn those muslims with their banners. its all the same here in the philippines, with all those tagalogs doing all those rallies. you should condemn them too.

About your stand that even us Roman Catholics (or past popes) committed murder and atrocities along the centuries... What separates us from the muslims is that we Roman Catholics condemned those crimes and mark it as a shameful chapter in our history... while Muslims promote the killings of the Infidels... and see at it as an Act of God... and as justifiable in their religion.

True....
When a muslim slays an infidel(American, Jew, or non-believers)..... they even celebrate it.... they don't condemn it....
look at that girl in pakistan if you remember.... an islamic court allowed her to be raped as punishment..... only after the internation press reported it so it was stopped....
just recently in afghanistan..... a man who converted to christianity almost got himself hanged if not for international condemnation.....
there are many examples of radical application of islamic principles..........
Women have no rights in islam..... do you accept that
??

Rallyists marching in a Peace rally and bringing placards promoting beheadings, more 9/11's, slaughter of non-Muslims, etc. - if that is not a problem- I wonder what is a problem then?

i am with fingolfin on this issue...it was not right for the professor to issue a general statement against the muslims...
...i have many muslim friends and some of them are better persons than some of my christian friends

the professor had the right to free speech.....
it was not a Hate or racist speech
did the professor say death to all muslims
if you look at the other side..... they would easily say death to infidels, death to americans, british, etc.....
so who is creating hate.....
do we just shut-up because the muslims react VIOLENTLY to anyrhing we say against them
I think non-muslims should also react VIOLENTLY to anything that muslims say against non-believers........

i'm with the professor, what if, if we christians and other catholic religions etc..... do the same with
banners, doing what the other muslims did in their rallies... Shouting "Kill all the Muslims".... what would be
the reaction of the muslim community? i think they'll react as we did....
