    What about Dr. Ceasar Saloma? He is the physicist and the Dean of the College of Science and a professor at the National Institute of Physics at UP diliman. He is well known to physicists around the Philippines. He is mostly known for his triumphs despite adversity and is the inspiration to most struggling Filipino Physicists like me. hehehe!     He is a very good and down to Earth person. I met him once when he visited the Physics deparment at USC-TC. He is a good friend of Dr. Roland Otadoy, the chairman of the USC Physics Department.

    Hooray for the Filipino! Yes, Filipino scientists and inventors are often ignored. I think some even sold their patents to foreign companies because we just don't respect them enough.

    exactly! hehehe! in fact, there are really many good filipino scientists and engineers. Most of the very good ones are abroad and are really excelling in their field. wala lang gyud kabaw ang mga pinoys.. hehehe
