Allen Iverson wants to make a comeback in the NBA



It was Allen Iverson's rookie year and he was being guarded by one of the greatest basketball players of all-time, Michael Jordan.

Iverson juked left and crossed the ball over to his right hand. Jordan recovered. Iverson repeated the move, this time sending Jordan off-balance, and made a mid-range jumper. The YouTube video has nearly 700,000 page views, the play indelibly ingrained in the imaginations of its viewers.

Ahhhh, those were the days.

Iverson, the 2001 NBA MVP, has recently been far removed from his glory days. The 36-year-old played for four teams in his last two season in the NBA, and eventually left the Philadelphia 76ers in February 2010.

He went to Turkey to play for Besiktas, but returned home after a calcium mass developed on his right calf. Iverson is expected to be cleared to play in mid-July.

Where? In the NBA, he hopes.

"I know what I can do," he said. "Everybody in the world knows what I can do. Everybody knows what I can do on the basketball court.

"Just give me a training camp. Maybe I've rubbed people the wrong way as far as saying the things I've said in my life and in my career. But if any team needs me to help try and win a championship in any capacity, I'm waiting."

no offense to AI fans, but sa iya stats taas iya assists per game, its bec. ang bola naa man gud sa iya 80 percent of the time.. so taas gyud.. pero buaya gihapon ni siya hehehe, kay mopasa ra magkalisod.

the problem with AI is that he doesn't know how to play without the ball.. effective ra siya kung ang bola naa niya permi...


if you're an old athlete then dili kaayo ka hinigo sa perimeter ma laos gyud ka.......

mao bitaw si Nash og Grant Hill na modugay gyud sa NBA kay tungod sa ila jump shooting skills. dugay ka malaos kung shooter gyud ka..
