in my own twisted opinion...there is a separation of church and the state right? and why the hell is the church dicking with the government? the church are run by hypocritical bastards that call themselves priests, nuns, bishops, cardinals, pastors and there are so many others and the same goes for the government...Being in the government is about choosing THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS...THERE ARE NO GOOD SIDES TO EVERY PROBLEM...Lets face it the world is full of horny people..The only thing we can do is tell give them some options..

Your generalization does not run true with facts. What's with the 'dicking'? The Church is concerned mainly with the faith and morals of its members. When the morality of its members are 'endangered' by certain laws, it is an act of love that the Church voice out its opposition to such laws. You, on the other hand, want the Church to be inutile.

Your audacity in presuming that the two sides of the argument are both evil is untenable. Your insistence that there are no good sides to every problem is at best unrealistic. Where did you learn all 'these'?

May I suggest that you try to live on another part of the world? The place you are living now is just too small and has restricted your vision. You see only horny people. A world full of horny people, you said. I just hope you are not living with anybody else.

I don't want to be rude, but your words led me to think that your parents are horny. Granted that parent do make love, but horny? Being horny is a state of being sexually excited more than a normal person. On second thought, since you insist that the world is full of horny people, it must be the way of life of the people around you. In my part of the world, we don't have too many of those. I have known people who are horny, but the numbers are too few to warrant a generalization like you have.

No, the world is not full of horny people. There are many though who would like to make it so.

    di dacs...wow! i never saw it that way..thanks. :8O:

I was thinking about teenager and unmarried perople not married people.Hell! I owe alot from my prents.hehehe.Anyway lets face it,there are alot of people out there and sad to say most of the are teenagers. They make love and do get mpregnated and by being moral persons they get married and have the baby...I'm not saying that i'm going for abortion..But there are so many teens that are so willing to have intercourse..Promoting the use of contraceptives does not promote premarital ***. Its just using this contraceptives is good for the individual, for the country and basically for the greater good no matter how imoral it may be...These days we are lucky to have this things..Our country as it is, is in an economic shit hole and the hole just keeps on getting deeper and deeper. We are barely able to feed our population and our population is multiplyng exponentialy and that scres the hell out of me. What if the time comes when there is just not enough food for our people? Regulating the population now helps us in many ways. There's not enough jobs outhere for all of us. Food is short. Oil prices are rising. The population is multiplying and our country is just doesn't have the resources to provide...

Yes it does. Have you ever heard the excuses teenagers make for having ***: "You won't get pregnant anyway!" Be realistic.

Its just using this contraceptives is good for the individual, for the country and basically for the greater good no matter how imoral it may b
So how does doing something immoral bring about the greater good? You seem to be advocating the idea that "the end justifies the means". That is, of course, the kind of thinking that leads to moral disasters such as Nazism, the Holocaust, and widespread abortion Do you realize that?

No, immoral means ARE immoral precisely because they ALSO lead to the greater evil for the rest of us (as well as being wrong in themselves). They do NOT bring about greater good.

As for "being barely able to feed our people", that is caused by greed and corruption. The country produces more than enough to feed, house, and clothe several times our current population. The reason we have shortages and poverty is because a FEW people take and waste so much.

There will always be enough for our need, but never enough for our greed.

    Romans 3:8 (New American Bible)
"And why not say--as we are accused and as some claim we say--that we should do evil that good may come of it? Their penalty is what they deserve."

    Romans 3:6-9 (Douay-Rheims Bible)

"(I speak according to man.) God forbid: otherwise how shall God judge this world? 7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie, unto his glory, why am I also yet judged as a sinner? And not rather (as we are slandered, and as some affirm that we say) let us do evil, that there may come good? whose damnation is just. What then? Do we excel them? No, not so. For we have charged both Jews, and Greeks, that they are all under sin."

i'm not saying that i want abortion to be legal..i want to have children too you know..i'm just voting for this birth control and contraceptives..be it artificial or natural..and contraceptives does not promote ***..because if its there or not the drive for *** was already there before the issue of contraceptives even begun..that is why contraceptives were introduced in the first place..the problem was already present and it did not create the problem..everybody knows that every solution creates another problem and its a never ending cycle..but we just can't sit this one out..we have to speak our minds..i'm just being open minded here.

Let's get real. Contraceptives do promote 'recreative' *** - as opposed to procreative *** of committed and married couples. If the urge is there, what is keeping someone from doing it if the possibility of pregnancy can be avoided? The urge can be controlled. Unhealthy? Who says? I can point to studies which found that chaste person actually lives a healthier life.

In the old days, abstinence through self-discipline is practiced and is positively beneficial to both persons involved. In these days, people want an easier way out of their sexual appetites. I have read a book entitled 'Contraception - The Hidden Truth' (authored by Dr. Christine de Stoop). I recommend that we read it. It's available at most branches of National Bookstore. I think it costs less than P300. I have also read a book entitled 'Deeply Damaged : : An Explanation for the Profound Problems Arising from Aborting Babies and Abusing Children' (authored by Dr. Philip Ney). I have not finished reading this one, so I'll just stop short of recommending it to you.

Freedom without boundaries is no freedom at all; it is anarchy.
