Whatever you call it. True or Ideal religion always practice the UNIVERSAL PRINCIPLES and VALUES that were mentioned above.

The Master and Sages know about this and they become ONE with the UNIVERSE!

Sir reg... yes... i agree with you.. the common things about the religions is really the Golden Rule as you quoted it in your second thread....

But sir... how come.. if i may speak freely... how come others religion tend to give ideas to their followers that "the other religion is the enemy".... Would they still be a religion.. since they have violated the so called principle that they should wish to follow

Well, Knyll I don't believe that a true master or sage would say that the other religion is the enemy. Those people who say that the other religion is their enemy is not a true disciple of the path. He is a misguided one. In other words, he is a fanatic or a fundamentalist and I don't want to mention specific name of a certain religion who declare that their religion is the one true religion.

Religion in its truest and deepest meaning is to BIND with GOD! Religion is a path and every religion expresses its own different styles of reaching GOD. All roads will ultimately reach its final destination (GOD).

True we are many but we have ONE GOD and we share the same ONE PLANET EARTH in this ONE GIGANTIC UNIVERSE of GOD which is unfolding as it should!

I consider my religion as UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD although it is not really a man made religion.

FYI, Theosophy is not a religion. It is a form of Spirituality and a Society my friend! The essence of religion is not the dogams or the teachings of your pastors or your priests.

True religion transcends man made dogmas and beliefs. As I have said TRUTH and WISDOM are found within you as the final arbiter of truth! I may study all the sacred Scriptures of all religions but I will be the one to decide if this is true or not! This is what even Buddha said, search and study and if you find those things sensible and true, then accept it if not reject it!
