dli mana mao akong gipasabot tawn bai oi.
palihug ko og tan-aw balik sa first post sa topic jud, i am asking if is it proper for foreigners to scold
a pinoy in public even in the Philippines.
Let it be known that I personally don't like people publicly scolding another person in public, regardless of the nationalities involved--I have the SAME OPINION of such people, regardless of nationality. Now nga naklaro na na, naturally you'd think nga mag-"side" ko sa imong point, in this matter. However, if you think about it, the only difference with this case is that the person scolding the other person is Korean, which to me, has no significance or weight, and this should also be the case to someone who doesn't see color/nationality as a factor.

Im a Filly by blood but Aussie by citizenship...
But i have the respect of how i act when im in the Phils., just as when im here back home...

I hate Koreans or any other foreign ****ers who comes to the Phils and bring with them their bloody attitude..
That's not their place, as it isn't mine...
    They should act accordingly...
That's not their place, their culture, their country...
If that crickey korean shiela was to reprimand her driver, she should have done in a proper way. As the way i see it, it was her ego doing the push...
She should go back to her country or lest be stuffed inside a bin liner...
Filipinos have the right to act how they act, as they are inside thier turf...
They should also do otherwise if their not in theirs...

Not unless they're rights are violated, then they should act accordiingly...

If you were a guest in someone else's house, would you push your bloody weight around? Or would you act accordingly to the matter of customs to the household?

There's no bloody "double standards" here involve, nor "stereo-typing"...

    @TS

I'm with you. tandog man sad akong compassion nimo oi. kasabot ko bro where you are coming from. ako pod nationalistic baya ko. UP ko ga HS brad and you can just imagine the Bonifacio vs Rizal discussions and ethnic dances going on around there. I love the Noli and Fili and Lapu2x and the national anthem played in the cinemas make me cry (no exagg). I'm no different from those who love the philippines.

and ako lang bro, we should be careful in not being discriminatory or racist in our efforts to keep patriotism. look at korea now, tungod sa ilang patriotism, they are having a hard time accepting heterogeneity. kaila kag gina discriminate didto ang mga half-koreans? maglisod sila og appreciate og multiculturalism. karon sige pa sila og educate sa ilang populace on how to embrace heterogeneity.

let's see beyond race or country of origin. anyone, in this global community now, can be born in one country, work in another country, retire in another country, and die in another country. i for one would like to do this (die in europe).

so looking beyond race, i would have approached the korean woman and told her she was causing a scene. her race is beside the point. if i were in another country, gusto pod ko masita not bec i was filipino or a foreigner but bec i was violating a rule and that's it.

i hope you get my point.

basta kay for me, unless we know what that driver did, or said, we could never say that his employer was being unreasonable. what if he suddenly blurted;"Sir, your daughter was kidnapped." or, "Sir, I was the one who killed your wife." or worse, "Sir, I told your wife about our relationship. She knows you're gay."

waaaah... kiddin aside, we can never can tell. tsk, tsk.

kay kung ako ang Korean, sus. manghagis jud ko!

Filipinos are peace loving people and ganahan kaau ta og magtabi ta cge, moadto sa silingan manong og tabi.
This atttitude distinguishes as from other countries. We meant no harm to the koreans or to any foreigners, in fact nindot gani nga kusog ato tourism.
I am sure kato akong na witness naa jud sala ang driver ato kay gikasab-an man, of course.
But the only thing i dont like is how she showed her anger to the pinoy.

Hope we can still remember the last two lines of our national anthem "Aming ligaya na pag may mang-aapi,
Ang mamatay nang dahil sayo". I am sure nga during sa pagsulat ani atong pambansang awit, the writer is not refering to a pinoy nga nag-api og laing pinoy but from other countries nga nidaug-daug nato.
Our national anthem is the only thing nga nahabilin nga nagparemind nato how our ancestor fought for independence. I know most of us heard kani nga saying "bisag asa ang pinoy ulipon bisag sa kaugalingong nasod". Hope at least atong ma-eliminate nga ulipon ta even in our own country, sayang kaau ang gi-fight sa atong mga heroes before. We should learn to be independent, look at Japan and Korea maglisud man gani na sila og eningles but tan-awa booming kaau sila.

Hehehe morag layo na kaau ko sa topic da...
pero anyway, hope to all koreans or to any foreigners (good or bad) who have read this thread or who might understand some of us are saying here, please show some respect to all Filipinos. I know we make mistakes but at least try to deal with it in a respectfull manner. The Filipinos are still the owner of the Philippines so please treat us well the same way we embrace you to come here in our country.

    Peace to you ALL!
