high salary...worst lifestyle...
high salary means more girls means more carma means hell..nyahaaha
It'll be good to have a high salary but it'll be a mistake to think that one's lifestyle is for sale.
High Salary ko oi bahala ug kapoy...naa man sad day off..hehe
ok lang nako na gamay or dako ang salary basta na.a lang..
Most people believe that a "lifestyle" is a product of a high standard of living, and since a high standard of living requires a lot of cash, people think that the more money you have, the better your lifestyle. Which is not entirely true.
Consider this scenario. You get invited to a very posh party. You got invited because, well, lets pretend that yesterday, you won the lottery (whoohoo!) so you have tons of money, and it so happens that (for some unexplain reason) you too, got invited to the party.
So arguably, in this high profile party, the guests are more or less in the same income bracket, and thus everybody assumes that everyone is living the same "lifestyle". And some of them, including you of course, are in for a big surprise. The guest of honor in the party is a well-known art critic, who, because of his controversial views re contemporary art, has been quite popular not only in the art circles but also in political circles, which is perhaps the reason why there are also politicians in the guest list--they want to engage in a bit of intellectual sparring with the artists and his views. Now as you stride across the floor, and observe people around you, and esp. the crowd gathered in the corner, around the artist, and you overhear them talking about 18th century Baroque architecture and how it inspired the designers of the very hall you're currently walking across in, can you honestly say to yourself you're living the same lifestyle as they are? Can you engage them in the same level of political banter that they'd expect from someone who is actually living the same lifestyle as they do?
It's an issue of upbringing, cultural background, and your level of intellect--if you have tons of money, yet you lack those things, yes, perhaps you are indeed in a certain lifestyle of sorts--but probably one that is more akin to "nouveau riche" than anything else.
