mga bro, ni abot na gyud ang akong PSU. Time to install na.. anyway, about sa thermal grease bah, pag mag butang ko sa thermal grease, ako to limpyohan ang daan na thermal grease kato naka pilit na dad2? or pwede ra nako i-overlap?

ni init naman hinoun pag butang nako.. ni init ug 3-4C.. kay kato wala pa nako gi alisdan ang thermal paste, pero gi limpyohan lang nako ang heatsink ug ang processor.. nag ubos ug 47-48C ang Idle.. karon nga akong nang gi change ang thermal paste kay mga range na ug 52-54C and idle. Kailangan gyud kog heatsink mga bro? unsa-on pag pa ubos sa temp when using only stock heatsink? I've read alot of people here that they use stock heatsink but they have lower temp when idle.

Obviously, it's the System temp. Can anyone please direct me as to what exactly "System" means?
Is it the overall cpu temp? or the mobo temp? Im kinda confused man gud. Been experiencing sudden shutdowns lately. Sa una, when playing Lineage2 (online game) lang, but now random shutdowns na jud ni. Mao na ni run.lol.

Core2Duo 4400 @ 2.00GHz
1GB RAM
Samsung DVD/R
Maxxtor 80GB HDD
Sapphire ATI Radeon X550XTX (i know it sux. upgrade nako.) ^_^

Sa una ok pa kau dagan. I can go on max settings sa tanan apil Anti-Aliasing and all. And lately, poof! Shutdown. Got BSOD before with something like paging, got that fixed by downgrading the drivers, but the pc still shuts itself down. @_@ can someone please direct me to what may be causing this discomfort. Thank u..

I have a 1 year old computer sitting at home. Its specs is:

Core 2 Duo E4400 2.0Ghz
2 x 1GB DDR2 Memory 667Mhz
Asus P5GC-MX Motherboard
1 x 80GB Seagate SATA HDD
2 x 160GB Seagate SATA HDD
LG DVD Writer 8x
ATI Radeon X1900XT 512MB 256bit
Powerlogic Casing
Powerlogic PSU 500W
19" Samsung LCD Monitor

Its all stock, except for my VC. I just recently replaced my ATI Radeon x1550 512mb 128bit with ATI Radeon X1900XT. So, finally i got a not-so-new VC but still decent enough to play some decent games like Crysis, Call of Duty 4, Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter 2, Company of Heroes and etc. My problem is that, when i play games like that, graphic hungry games, in a matter of 10-15mins my computer shut off completely. Though, i dont have fans installed and i dont have a decent heatsink too. Its all really stock. Is it my power supply? or my computer shuts off because of the heat? Can you guys advice me also what to do, i have limited budget so i cant really afford high end accessories as of the moment. I just want to play my favorite games with my comp shutting down.

In addition, i didnt attached my DVD Writer and my other 160GB Seagate HDD to my PSU. So, its not in use as of the moment because my PSU have on 4 power connectors. The 2 power connectors are attached to my ATI Radeon X1900XT and the other 2 are in my other 2 hard drives.
