i've tried their hood patterns, very precise.. cool! the problem is, how you mount it in your lens. i made one with my EF 75-300mm, using some tape / rubber band to mount it. It s*cks (but if you guys can find a better way... leme know hehe). My solution to it... I ordered a Canon Hood... LOL!

I think the tabs on the end are supposed to fold over
and act like springs to hold the hood on to the lens

tolstoi: bottles of lotion, baby oil, alcohol..etc... darkwing made a DIY built-in flash defuser for his 350D... just cut the opening part and then pasok sa flash...

there's a PVC version of the light box which i built a couple of months ago, I believe eisen posted the original version somewhere in this thread. it's a bit more portable and flexible to various sizes of products. the box light tent is a bit limiting to tiny items.
