Default Re: EL NIDO: A PARADISE ON EARTH

totally agree with v7 on elnido. you go there now!! been there about 2 months ago too.
went there through a hired van @ P2600 each(8 pax) roundtrip and it served as our main transpo exploring elnido(5 hour ride; 2hr smooth ride then 3 hours of bad due to ongoing road construction).
got a room at greenviews resort at corong2 el nido(10 min away fr town proper) for P3200/nite good 4 pax.

the island hopping adventure described by v7 cost P700/pax.

The room we stayed in was 500 per night regardless of how many persons and the bus ride was 300 pesos. Magreserve na lang mo seats daan the day before para maayo ang pwesto. Cebuano man ang owner sa bus liner didto. Mga 6 to 7 hours na lang ang bus ride because some parts are already cemented. We didn't arrange our accommodations before going there kay adventure man gyud to amo so we ended up staying in a place nga common ang tiolet and bathroom pero okey ra kay our housemates were all Europeans and dili sila hilig mogamit sa bathroom.

We availed of all the island tours available and hired a bangkero to explore other places not covered by the tours. The best spot was the secret beach. Outside, its just limestone cliffs but when you swim underwater, there's a hole you can swim through. Inside, there's white sand beach surrounded by limestone cliffs. It's called secret beach mao dao to ang inspiration sa the beach nga author. You can swim or snorkle through the hole during low tide. If high tide na, mag underwater swimming gyud ka. Nice pud ang Matinloc island kay nindot kaayo ang view. The other beautiful spots there are the big and small lagoons at miniloc, snake island (this is different from the Honda bay snake island), secret lagoon and more. For spelunkers, naa pud caves didto. There's one cave nga tagu-anan pag World War II then when it was first discovered, daghan skeletons ug gold nakit an pero mag adto nako wa nay sulod pero nice gihapon. Gamay lang kaayo ang entrance.

For adventure lovers like me, its the best place to explore, truly paradise.

yay maka suya hehehe!! btaw nahan ko backpackers.. dapat daghan gud ta para safety at same time gamay ra gasto..

kinsa ninyo dre nahan mag backpackers mag groupo ta ninyo?

EL Nido is the famous northern town in Palawan.
The Expensive Resorts there that is all inclusive are Milniloc (Old), and Lagen (Modern)...Of which you will get the chance to visit Miniloc if you are booked in Lagen but not vice versa....

When I went there 2years ago....its well guarded...you are accompanied by armed in cognito men...at least 2 in every trip....
There were couple of celebrities ( Dina and a certain Mark)....they were not treated any different than us....

Its your priority in life and how much you really can afford.....They say if you ask the price that means you can not afford...
