    about this suggestion:

"renegotiation/moratorium of foreign debt = the amount can further aid our social service programs."

how do we tell world bank and imf about that? how do we finance our development kung dili na ta pahulmon nila ug usab kay mahulog na gud ta ana nga delinquent customers.................remember nga wala tay kwarta ha to start all over again kung mag communista ta.........

Â* They became the BACKBONE of the NPA ie " spokespersons " , " educators " , " local leaders " but like what you said , they are only a fraction of the pie .... the NO READ NO WRITE ( sorry kung sayop ni na term ) people are there followers who thinking of benefiting themselves individually thru the cause ie LANDS . They are the majority bai and we all know that .

obviously the taget 'supporters' and 'sympathizers' are not the 'no-read-no-write' crowd but those who essenially are affected by the current problem that this country has. it just happens that due to their marginalization, their education is limited.
Â* I used to be AFFECTED by the GRP system also if you know what I meant . But instead of beingÂ* part of the solution , the affected decided to be part of the problem ... I did the other way though .

what is manipulation? can you call the GRP's campaign to 'stand by the president' the GRP's own form of manipulation of public opinion?
Personally I dont consider it one ... I consider it as a form of SYMPATHY .... now that I gave her my sympathy shows that I am observing her/his the real government . If I dont show herhim my sympathy , I will provide support .... still it makes it a justifable statement that I consider the GRP the real govt because no matter what happens , for better or for worst , I recognize them .

imong question ba, ""Suma pagbisitA sa PRIME MINISTER from NEW ZEALAND , mga taga NDF unta ang ka meeting niya but ngano si PGMA man ??" dili masabtan kung ang tubag "yes or no". nangutana man ka ug "ngano" = "why" so dili ma tubag ug "yes" or "no" lang.
Â* Correct me if im wrong ... too lazy to look for the root but anyways , AFAIK ... I was referring to the legitimacy of the NDF as a form of a govt kay sila unta ang ni atubang sa taga NZ . Dili pod ingon na di updated ang taga NZ regarding sa existence sa CPP-NDF-NPA but why ang GRP man ang ilang hatagan ug importance kung ibutang ta lang na GOVT ba gyud diasy ang NDF .

i've told you my answer already. as is, the GRP has the upper hand, militarily and diplomatically. the NDF is trying to be recognized as a belligerent force that is engaged in a 'civil war' against the GRP and it is gaining ground. but the GRP, as is (since the issue is still to be resolved - that's why there is a war), is recognized as that which represents the Filipino people.
Â* But ang nahitabo is , CPP-NDF-NPA was instead recognized as a TERRORIST group right ? Instead of being a belliegerent group engage inaÂ* civil war with the GRP ? NATIONALLY and INTERNATIONALLY ... so saying the GRP has the upperhand is not a sufficeint answer kung recognition ang gi apas .

how do you define communism ba? para nimo, what happens in so-called 'communist' countries ba? what is maoism? and what is its relationship to communism? i need to ask you these things because we may be talking about 'communism; and be pointing at different and opposite things altogether. we need to align our concepts of what these are.
Communism refers to a conjectured future classless, stateless social organization based upon common ownership of the means of production, and can be classified as a multivariant branch of the broader socialist movement

MAOISMis a variant of Marxism-Leninism derived from the teachings of the Chinese communist Mao Zedong . To my understanding .... a strategy of MANIPULATING the uneducated ones as a force to reckon with .

Â* Again from WIKIPEDIA if you will honor its defintion .

tell me, how many people claim that the 'GRP represents what they want in a government'?
Â* I dont know in numbers but Im psure the MAJORITY .

how much percentage of this know that there is a 'government' other than the GRP that exists in this country? and in that fraction, how many actually knows the goals and aims of the NDF?
It is hard to say the majority but Im pretty sure REFORMATION thru VIOLENCE even from an elementariy students point of view . Whats the need of NPA's if they wanted to topple a govt whom they cant agree with ?

and in lesser this fraction of people how many knows international laws wherein to use force to attain a goal is permissible upon certain conditions? now in this still lesser fraction, who else benefits from the so-called 'social services' that the NDF supposedly provides? now in this very much lessened fraction of the whole population of the philippines, how many do you believe remains to adhere to NDF?
Â* Mao ni ang gi take ug advantage sa NDF ... I personally dont know these but why bring COMMUNISM ?

it's a war of information and mis-information, control of public opinion. may i remind you that it does not necessarily mean that because the majority agrees with one thing, it is already 'right' or 'true'. it does not always follow. public opinion can be swayed. we have seen that countless of times.
Â* Then it JUSTIFIES that GRP doesnt MANIPULATE because everything is the majoriyty of the publics opinion towards what they consider as a legit government .

belligerency is a formal declaration of war. the GRP does not admit that it is a 'co-belligerent' in this war (because it would mean admitting too that the NDF is a government/institution in itself), but its' signing of the Hague Joint Agreement formally acknowledges the existence of the NDF as a 'party' to the peace talks.
GRP does not also want to admit its 'co-belligerency' status because in so doing, this conflict automatically is under the Geneva Conventions and International Humanitarian Law. it elevates the conflict then not only inside the country but also internationally.
Â* I see it as a loophole being taken advantage of by the NDF . But thats just my opinion .

Gloria's face and name in billboards, posters, banners, streamers, tshirts, paid public ads on newspapers, radio and TV...everywhere during the elections in disguise of 'social services'. nuff said.
How about those GRAFFITIS' " ibagsak ang gobyerno " , mabuhay cpp-ndf-npa " , ambot naa pa ba na sa mga Jones Ave cor P.del Rosario na di gyud ko makalimot and mga islands sa Cebu . Panahon pa ni Cory na hantod karon .

question is why is he hiding?
Maybe ... so no one will know his presence but eventually nahibaw-an ra pod ug wala nagdugay kay naay mga CAFGU .

unsay atraso niya and against whom?
I honestly dont know ... but he is bringing the name of NPA and everyone knows he is a good man by virtue , walay atraso .

yes, people care but they will care only until such a point that they wont have to sacrifice much. you gave your own example yourself. you 'care' to pay taxes on time so that you won't be penalized.
My point really .... be a part of the SOLUTION and not the PROBLEM . Kung di ko makabayad on time ... I will be penalized but its ok , I have to deal with it . The only reason it will ever happen is wala gtyuy koy kwarta ibuhis but will that scare me ne SUNUGON sa GRP ang akong property ?

you seem to forget to take this into historical context. the people in the rural areas haven't been meeting their needs for generations. call it pent up frustration, call it social phenomena, but when the opportunity presents itself for them to systematically change their status, they will take it, even if it means violence. they define their own concept of 'legitimate' based on what they have experienced and what they have learned from their situation.
Â* Naa sad tay panultion sa Tagalog bai ... " May mga taong nakaka-awang patayin ngunit nakaka-asar buhayin " . Like I said , dako na issue ang LANDS . Do they have titles ? Are they paying TAXES on time ? if the case of thes epeople are making their own CONCEPT then it is obviously not a govt but pure NUISSANCE lang .

logical fallacy. 'truth' and/or what is 'right' is not determined by how many people agrees. remember Erap? he got the most number of votes but was he the 'right' president? or Marcos for that matter.
Â* I may have highlited thre word MAJORITY but the KEYWORDS are LAW ABIDING and UNARMED CITIZENS

i think the NDF is round 30 years old. i cannot be sure. there are lots of problems in the urban areas, but not as heavy as that of the rural areas. i should know, i grew up there. and the situations' the same. again, the urban areas is the 'base' of the GRP so support initially falls towards the GRP. if it continously cannot solve problems in the urban areas, then i wont be surprised that the NDF will eventually overrun the urban areas.
Â* Overrun thru VIOLENCE ? If that is the case , samot kabaho ang NDF .... agree ?

nope. US. kita. how? we need to have our analysis in order, or else we will repeat our mistakes again, as we have countless of times already. wrong analysis, wrong solution.
Â* If I have my analysis in order and dso are yours , the existence of the GRP and NDF will continue . I dont think it is about the govt , it is about the ideals . Mao lage ako gi ask .. why bring COMMUNISM in the Philippines ?

massive socio-economic overhaul = genuine land reform in the rural areas. redistribution of wealth by focusing economic policies to address the social issues (education, health, housing, jobs) and turning over key utility companies to public acountability.

national industrialization = nationalization of basic industries for jobs so that the profits will circulate in the country instead of leaking out.

renegotiation/moratorium of foreign debt = the amount can further aid our social service programs.
I agree with all these statements but COMMUNISM is not the answer . Bisan kapila ta mag overhaul sa gobyerno , unless we the masses decides to be a part of the problem instead of being the solution ... we will always commit the same old mistakes .

Â* I know you will tell me why I keep on saying its the MAJORITY ... u may have a point that its not necesarilly RIGHT but it is definitely NOT the NO READ NO WRITE type .
" A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. " - 2nd Amendment , Bill of Rights of the United States of America

    Both!

    Communism:
Spreading the wealth to the vast majority of the people
Highlighting the goodnews and never mind first the badnews
Debate and select policies from the grassroots that will benefit the vast majority and very strictly implement them once they become laws of the land
Security Forces in the barracks and ready to destroy anybody or anything that will attempt to conquer or destabilize the country

    Martial Law
Security Forces utilized to instill order in selected areas of the land
Security Forces utilized to the hilt to go after the seemingly untouchables engaged in smuggling, corruption, drugs, destabilizations, and those who wantonly violate laws of the land
Security Forces to confiscate all loose firearms that abound in the country-that can be acquired by just anybody and can be used in any altercation even how petty

If we can only learn how to search and accept the necessary tools that will help our country to progress and have an uncompromising political will to use them...to be able to get out from the pits that we are in right now...I think the answers are just staring at us...let us not be afraid of how they look or how they sound.

Instilling discipline in everyone of us and order in our beloved Philippines - is what we Filipinos and the country need very badly at this stage of our history!
