If your talking about reaching 5ghz with your proc.
Just found out in a US based forums. Most people that reaches 5ghz are using These Gladiator motherboards The maximus series. These motherboards are extremely stable and is well built.
    Sure, Whatever you say =)

    EDIT:
    At Topic:

Since the topic is about the "best" motherboard money can buy, then its an automatic excuse for all asus motherboards to get nominated as the best

@Greywolf, Try considering the Abit IX38 QuadGT, its not the "best" though but it gives you the same performance as compared to those so called 25k motherboards

IMHO, you'll just have to wait and see. We already have the pricing for these motherboards and videocards, and one thing we can say for sure, it is very competitive.

I highly doubt it, but please do disprove me as i am willing to move to asus anytime when prices are correct for their boards.

Best in design, best in features, best in overclocking = best in value. There are some things that can be imitated, but the name ASUS in itself, well, res ipsa loquitur. It's not "overpriced" nor "overhyped". The ASUS ROG Formula and Extreme series is merely not for everybody but for the Enthusiast Level. The notion was when you mention ASUS and affordable in one sentence, it is not possible. NOW it is possible. STEEL ICON.

is this on air or using liquid nitro? The OC Team Italy overclock a Pentium4-3GHz(P4-631/Cedar Mill) to 8.180GHz using a full mod Asus P5B Deluxe w/ liquid nitro & a japanese team oc'ed another P4-631 to 5GHz on air using P5B Deluxe. A Nordic Hardware Team oc'ed a Core2Extreme QX6700 to 5.06GHz using an Asus Striker Extreme mboard, liquid nitro & special Vaseline material. it goes to show that with a good mobo, great cooling and a overclock"able" processor u can go a long way.search lang sa google to find the links/pics sa ilang setups.
