Ice: When people say Christ, it tends to directly mean Jesus. However, there are various religions in the world that doesn't recognize Jesus but they are not evil in nature. The Jews (Jesus religion) talks about the Messianic prophecy but they still refuse that Jesus was the Messiah. The Muslims, though they recognize Jesus as a prophet, but not as the Messiah. Buddhism, Taoism, and those pagan religions.

About John baptizing Jesus, Mark 10:38-39. But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:

This will clearly says that everything God want us to do He do it first for us to follow. 1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

The bible came and inspired by God. 2 Timothy 3:16. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

The bible was written by Moses, Prophets, Kings, and Apostles.

In Roman Catholic the Pope is the Highest Rank, but how come Apostle Paul failed to greet and mentioned his name when he wrote into the Believers of Christ which is in Rome.

rcruman...I think that's the problem between you and me. You take all your answers from the Bible without taking consideration the history of the source. You dismiss everything historical if it does not jive with the Bible. Lets go to the thread with regard to religion and we'll talk about the credibility of the Bible.

Sanosuke and guiller...I don't think every secret societies (who does good) fit to that one. How could we judge them when we don't even know the reason why they exist?

Are you sure that i dont think consideration of history of the source, i didn't dismiss historical fact but we accept it.
Not all historical fact can be accepted, like in our philippine history we have 2 date of Cry of Balintawak.

I think this is better, you've doubted the bible and i believed the bible.
