If we really want to make this community a safer place for business then people should do their part. Rules are there to follow.
For sellers, how many of them post complete details -- working contact number(s), actual price and picture(s), RFS, etc? Only few.
For buyers, how many of them doing transactions with sellers who didn't post complete details of their items and in the end became a crying baby after being scammed?
Buyer-Seller feedback is good. However, the downsides are the following:
- members can easily create clone accounts to boost his/her or someone's reputation
- or it may become a venue to destroy someone's reputation too
- transactions are not always verified so likewise it is not a guarantee that the person is really a reputable/reliable seller
- does the transaction really exist?
- is their really a successful transaction between the buyer and the seller?
What should be encouraged here is that people doing online transaction must handle it
ALWAYS with
COMMON SENSE. Use the search feature for background check. Do not transact sellers with incomplete details. Boycott these threads and neither reply to it. Let their threads die or report any of them.
