Houston could be a serious contender for the Larry O'Brien Trophy despite their disappointing display at the first half of the season (except for their surging 8 game winning streak heading into the All Star break). They play offense and defense as well. They have Yao and T-Mac... and all the complimentary players to back them up. They may be (currently) the 6th seed in the west but winning records don't matter in the playoffs.. And as for their recent games, the Rockets have beaten Phoenix, Seattle, Dallas, Sacramento and recently, Miami, all of which are elite teams.. and remember T-Mac's 13 point outburst in 35 seconds vs. San Antonio? that's an elite team.
