tnx for the comment sir,but at every RINGSPORT competition GSD will never be match to BM. thats why thy decided to make another dvision for GSD.. they will judge the speed jump and the bite for the BM. YouTube - knpv observe the BMs

gud day,BM (& gsd) enthusiasts,i also have some share of experiences when it comes to working with dogs,as dogs are my passion.i would like comment regarding the statement above.when it come's to speed,no doubt,the malinois with its lithe body,finer bones & great athleticism,has an edge over its larger counterpart.but when it comes to accuracy then i would credit the gsd more,as evryone in the sport knew that a slower dog is far more precise than a speedy one.second,the german shepherd dog is created a working dog even if you based ur answers on the picture of the 1st recognized GSD (hektor linksrein/horand v. grafrath),down to its sable color(as most working gsd's are of this color,although not an exact indication of its working lineage as some show types do have this color but rarely)to the angulations in its limbs & shoulder,even to the description of its founder (von stephanitz)...no doubt its a constucted working dog.there are different subtypes of german shepherd dogs-EAST GERMAN(working),CZECHOSLOVAKIAN(working),WEST GERMAN(show) & AMERICAN(show).And the 1st german shepherd dog developed is a working east german,later did the over angulated,sloped back showlines spring out like the west german/american.it is NOT PATTERNED after any breed or sport whether its the malinois,the ringsports(mondio,french,american street RING,etc.),as the GSD is developed already as a breed late 1800's (along w/schutzhund,which is a gsd breed suitability test later accounted as a sport by some individuals)whereas the ringsports are already developed sometime in 1900's with which the belgian shepherd dogs excel at.and ur video clip is a KNPV(koninklijke nederlandse politiehond vereniging) or the ROYAL DUTCH POLICE DOG TRIAL is developed by holland mounties to test the working capacity of their working police dogs (that same as schutzhund,are made into a sport later on).this also is not built for the belgian malinois but for the dutch shepherd dog,holland's premier working dog.
the german shepherd dog is not developed to be a speedy & snappy sport dog nor did it based its existence in to it & absolutely not made to compete with any sport dog!but it is created to be an all around working dog & companion!

yup pareha na but generalize mangud na na term ng belgian shepherd (or chien de berger belge) kay they include the 4 types of belgian shepherd dogs-the malinois,the tervueren,the groenendael & the rare, laekenois.but ang name sa malinois na mostly gnagamit sa ila country of origin kay belgian mechelaar
