We have been Americas dog ever since they invaded our country. "Liberating" us from the Spaniards and again liberating us from the Japanese. The later was the real liberation.

Today, when America says jump - we say - how high? (morag Cebu City councilors ba) Pirmi ta naa sa iyang kiliran kada panung niya ug gubat. Loyal kaayo gyud ta niya = dog loyal gyud.

I like America. I love Americans.

Hahaha. Aw klaro sad hinuon kaayo. Even our budget for AFP modernization we buy the 60's era machinery. Naka affect gyud to na gitangtang nato ilang base sa Subic and to think that we are their closest nation here in Asia as early and before the 20th Century. We fought side by side against the Japanese and during the Korean War against the Communists and in Vietnam as foreign aid. This is just an observation, that South Korea and Taiwan has a US base. I really don't mind having an American base here. For fear factor plays part in would-be invading countries that might threaten us(like the Spratley case). This is one reason why Taiwan is confidently flexing its military muscle knowing they have the 'world police' by their side.

    A little correction lang:
Americans did not steal the english language from the Brits. America was the garbage dump of the Brits. America before it was America (Australia, likewise) was a place where criminals were banished. Europeans colonized "America". They massacared the original settlers - The American Indians - and made them third class citizens. Tragic!

    Long Live America!
