Yes, that is very possible since UITFs, just like MFs, are very liquid. Liquid means any time pwede ka moadd or moredeem.
However, I won't suggest that kind of mentality or attitude because UITFs and MFs are supposed to be long term investments.
You will enjoy it more if you give it time kay mas modako imong kwarta.

I believe so but I'm not sure if all banks have this kind of feature (online access).
For some, aside from viewing it online, you can even transfer funds from your bank account to your UITF account. The same in mutual funds.
In redeeming, I'm not so sure kung unsa ang process sa pagredeem but I guess its safe to say that you really should submit a form to the bank for security purposes.

Yes Bro makita na nimo on line.

Sa pag-redeem sa UITF dili pwede profit ra ang i-redeem, per COP gyud na siya. Imoha ra ibalik ang cerftificate with your signature nya after 4 days mosulod na sa imong account or pwede sad imong ipa-check.

@1Mig, in addition to what sir makie has said,
kana imo 1k nga supposedly nga ginansiya ky i-less pjud sa pretermination fee, i.e., 1% of original participation amount if BDO Equity and 0.50% for Balanced Fund, Fixed-Income Securities and Peso Bond Fund.

    Given:
    Original Principal Amount: P20k
    Equity Early redemption fee: 200
Other UITFs Early Redemption Fee: 100
Participation Date: Nov 27, 2013 before 12 noon (cut-off time)
Last check of NAVPU: November 28, 2013 with (let's say )1k php increase if converted na daan
Redemption date: November 29, 2013 before 12 noon

to have an increase of 1k, dako kaayo ning sakaha which is rare ra mahitabo in a day.

    note:
sa gabie pa nimo mahibaw-an ang navpu sa november 29.
    to calculate profit or loss:
    nov 29 navpu (-) nov 27 navpu= gross "income"
gross income (-) early redemption fee = net gain/loss

    to calculate redemption amount:
original participation amount / nov 27 navpu = participation units
nov 29 navpu * participation units = gross redemption amount
gross redemption amount - early redemption fee = net redemption amount

Claiming date: after 4 banking days.
    - December 5, 2013

@ sir makie29, noyawl and mam Cebu O,

I've applied an UITF Product sometime Feb this year thru BDO's Easy Investment Plan (EIP), they started debiting the amt. of 2K mga May 30 this year, the latest debit transaction was that of Nov.30,2013. Sa transaction details it is reflected as ADA TRUST UITF...

    I have few concerns to address here which I hope you can share me your knowledge on this, which are as follows;

    1. I forgot which type of product I have chosen.
Q: Unsaon man nako pagkahibaw, do I really have to email BDO Investments Dept.to get the details?

    2. I forgot the exact holding period that I've initially applied for.
I think I've opt for the type of which the minimum placement amt. is Php10K , If we are to calculate from the first debit (May 2013) up to the current (Nov.30) mora man sobra na target amt. for me to get issued with a COP pertaining to my investment.
    Q:
2.1) If granted nga 3 years kunohay ako ge opt nga holding period, will the bank notify me that I have already been issued with COP or my COP is ready for pick-up kay I have met na the required minimum placement?

2.2) How about if it's in contrast; I mean I've selected for a shorter holding period/term like one year for instance. Do I have to notify the bank thru e-mail or by phone that they can auto renew my registration? If so, what will happen to the previous income/gains will it be credited to my account if I'll give them an instruction?

    Your inputs are greatly valued!

    Thanks...

    @miramax,

sorry ma'am ha, never tried EIP. kato ra regular ako nasuwayan so di ko sure if you have the option to choose from whether every 10k ka issuehan og COP or until it reached the amount you desire. pero if naa man gani ka choice of amount where it can be invested and whose amount is pre-determined and fix , I guess the best choice would be increments of 10k pra ma-invest dayon ky di man sad ka makabuot when iinvest so in this case, nag peso-cost averaging ka having the duration by which moabot og 10k.

pero if base sa ila website:
"Every time the market value of the investment reaches Php10,000.00 for PFIF, PBAL and EQUITY and Php 100,000.00 for PMMF on a contribution date, this will spin-off and be treated as a regular UITF investment documented by a Confirmation of Participation (COP)."
----> akong nasabtan ky every 10k jud siya sa Fixed-Income, Balanced and Equity while Money Market ky 100k.

    BDO's Easy Investment Plan (EIP)

    Date of Application: February 2013
Starting Date of Auto-Debit: May 30, 2013 (dugay2x sad. more or less 3 months time)
    Amount Debited: 2k
    Participation Amount: 10k
Duration of Time to Participate: 5 months (10k/2k)
---- but may be invested on the 6th month. ambot unsa gyud naa sa inyo contract (verbal or written) ma'am ha. If every 30th pa ma debit ang 2k, possible nga sometime sa 1st week of the succeeding month pa nila ma-invest depending on the time of auto-debit (which is dependent on the time where your salary comes in as well--if debited from payroll account; basi lapas sa cut-off time which is at 12noon) and on what day na fall ang 30th (non-banking days and holidays)

    1. Since you haven't received your COP yet, it would be best to go over-the-counter in the branch where you applied for EIP so that your concern will be addressed the soonest.
If you have your COP, makita rmn didto if what type of UITF, participation amount, navpu of the participation day and the corresponding number of participating units.

Given nga 2k per month, so either Fixed-Income, Balanced or Equity ma'am ky ang 10k man ang minimum for Money Market EIP.

2.1 As per experience, they will not notify you by phone, email, etc. It's when you visit the bank paka i-notify nga ready-for-pick-up na ang COP's. Usahay, makalimot sad na sila sa kadaghan so the best person to monitor all your running COP's is you. Actually, pwede rana nimo kas-ahon og kuha if you intend long term but 5 months is quite long nmn pud so better collect it sometime end of the 6th month. Pwede ka manugo pakuha sa imong COP provided you have signed the authorization card and the activities he/she can perform in your behalf.

2.2 If I'm not mistaken, unsubscription imo giask. Please refer sa link below ma'am for the form and please take note nga naay Non-Completion Fee: 0.50% of original contribution amount. Honestly, I don't know if pwede via email nlng. basi dugay mabasahan, mas maayo if over-the-counter lang ma'am.

    Other EIP Forms:
