Here's an article I read from sunstar which is about how a judge scored each round of the fight.

    http://www.sunstar.com.ph/static/ceb...ge.speaks.html

From the article, it is clear to me now how they break the tie of each round.

“So this was changed to the 10-point must system. This meant that judges had to look for a winner in each round. The winner gets 10 points; the loser, nine points. When a knockdown occurs, that’s 10-8. When a boxer is knocked-down twice, that’s 10-7. Thrice, 10-6. That’s why in the first Pacquiao-Marquez fight, one judge made a mistake (while the two others were correct) when he scored that first round 10-7. Because Pacquiao knocked Marquez down thrice, the score should have been 10-6.”

How do you score, I asked Jonathan.

“To be honest,” he said, “we don’t enjoy the fight as much as the spectators. Why? Because as a judge, you cannot root for your fighter. While it is natural for a spectator to look at one’s fighter more, we can’t do that. We look in the middle. And mentally, we count the punches landed. If it’s a tie at the end of the round, before the referee circles around, we think back on who hit the harder blows.”

So that means in their scorecard, you will never see a 10-10 score. Hibong lang ko sa pikas forum na gi balik2 niya daw ug tan-aw ang fight unya daug jud daw marquez sa score na 115-112, pero iya score kay naa 10-10.

Pacquiao should get more than GBP's offer of $6M. That's only 500,000 more than what he got in their 2nd fight..

C'mon guys Pac won that fight. It was tightly fought and anyone could have won. Both gladiators deserved to win. It's the judges call and saw it RINGSIDE that Pac was clearly more deserving and has the x-factor to win that fight. That's why there are judges to do that just like in any other sports.
I'm just pissed on how badly RECAH TRINIDAD reported on how the hell Pac won that fight. He said a lot of how UNWORTHY Pac of that new WBC title, how Pac badly performed but praising all Marquez had done, etc. He even went to the extent that the fight should be seriously investigated coz maybe there were anomalies involved! C'mon Mr. Trinidad, Pac doesn't deserve that! What are you thinking! Bsin ni sugal kang Marquez nya napilde ka that's why you are sour-graping. I know RECAH can say all that he wants on his columns and interviews, but what the hell. I can also freely say my opinions about his write-ups and columns, and I say it's full of crap and non-sense!
