    Who? Dacs, mannyamador, s.n.m.p., whiteoleander?

Anyway, just because I have respect for other non-Catholics doesn't mean I won't debate them-- especially the anti-Catholics of the S.D.A. and anyone who embraces their anti-Catholic beliefs and spews their anti-Catholic propaganda. Nothing gets into my nerve than calling my Mother "puttana"...

    My line in the sand.

Sovadon probably meant Bro. Socrates Fernandez, the current mayor of Talisay City (Cebu), who is also the president (?) of the Catholic Faith Defenders (CFD). This group actually provides apologetics classes at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (USJ-R, Magallanes - opposite Carbon) at 7:30 PM every Monday. Unfortunately, he failed to mention that Brod Soc has those books exactly to disprove the claims of SDA (so that they cannot deny that they don't teach this one or that one). I know Brod Soc personally and he had, at one time, personally testified during a meeting on why he left the SDA. It started with a debate with an SDA pastor and a Catholic layman. When a inquiry was presented to the SDA pastor and consequently the pastor cannot satisfactorily provide a lucid answer, Brod Soc started thinking about what would happen if the pastor had met a true-blue Catholic faith defender. The rest, as is always said, is history...

The College of Engineering of the University of San Carlos has a faculty member who is am active member of CFD - Engr. Ramon Gitamondoc, CE Department. I, on the other hand, am not a member.

I suspect that Houndedheaven & Dacs is same person. Tabon 2x lang aron di kaayo klaro. That is a great move of having many names here as clear manifestation of a professional debate strategy. Kudos for it.

Re of Brod Soc, SDA had no record that he was its member before. That is a great lie Professor Dacs! I am a Talisaynon and a follower of him politically. I know him very well.

If this was not a sarcastic comment, exactly, how will having multiple usernames without admitting these are all yours somehow make your debate strategy "professional"? If you were debating x>1 number of people who are all secretly usernames of one person and discovering that truth at some point in the future, would you describe his strategy as "professional"? If you do, you got a funny definition of the adjective "professional", pal.

So who's the respected Catholic defender-SDA books collector you were alluding to? You still haven't answered my question (well, not that you have an obligation to answer it).

By the way, why not include mannyamador, tempest, tempest2, whiteoleander, s.n.m.p., websniper and any Catholic here if it suits your suspicion? It's not like one of us was employed by Istorya to make their threads look more infested with different posters by inventing and posting under multiple usernames. Heck, even one of the moderators threatened to ban us-- for bullying his boyfriend from Hogwarts.

Really?! Is that your 'professional' assumption?

The joke is on you then. Ngano man diay ug Talisaynon ka, what? Is it a given that you should know such thing? Deny it you may, but the truth remains. Sorry, bro. How sad that you have come to deny what is essential a simple historical event in the life of your city mayor. A suggetion : go to Our Lady of Mount Carmel church at USJ-R Main at 7:30 PM Monday and ask Brod Soc if he was indeed from the SDA. You are after the truth, right (and not just what SDA authorities tell you)?

It is better to joke than to lie. I can bet on that. He had never been a member of the SDA. You can use anything just to deceive people. You should verify things before uttering them in this forum. Not only that I am a Talisaynon, but also we are neighbors. Karon kinsay namakak professor?

The Bible says everyday must be holy Today - Heb. 4: 7

although many denominations choose Sunday to be the day of fellowship and service since it was originally the Lord's Day and "Sabbath rest" and other special occasions where fellowship in the body is called for. But generally as written in the Book of Hebrews above, we are told to keep every day holy.

and where in the Old Testament God's temple is to be kept holy, now our bodies must be kept holy from all sorts of vices or sexual immorality. All other sins a man does is outside his body, but if he commits sexual immorality, his sins against his own body - 1 Cor. 6: 19 because our bodies are now the temple of the Holy Spirit.

    Simple.Â* Ikaw.

I seldom post anything that cannot be verified. What if you are neighbors? You have never answered my question if you have asked the man personally. If you say yes, then you are lying. Brod Soc has said so in a number of gatherings that he was formerly an SDA. If you say no, then what is the worth of your assertion?
