Design
- If you are going to start a fantasy themed LEGO collection, then you better collect a lot of these before stores run out. Why you ask?!
- Let's start from the top. The helmet looks great. It sure was made to protect his head from all angles. Only an elf can shoot him through the eyes from a mile away.
- And ooh, I so love the bear and how it is braided. His belt buckle is an icon for his race (or probably of his mother, as Aragorn implied, female dwarves have beards, ha ha).
- And OMG! Take a look at the draconian design on the shield. It gives me the hibbie jibbies.
- LEGO also did a fantastic job on the axe. You can have a double bladed one or remove one blade to get a single bladed one. I chose the double bladed because it makes him more BA.

Paint
- The overall color scheme of this minifigure is monochromatic in a good way - moody, just like what you'd expect an Evil Dwarf too be.
- The helmet is painted with a dark gray metallic. So is the axe.
- The paint is well done on the figure and those dark colored skin around the eyes gives him the right look.

Accessories
- Good looking shield and dangerous looking axe that can cut you in half.

Fun Factor
- You kidding me, right? This has got to be one of my favorites in my current line up.

Gripe
- This is just nitpicking on my part but this minifigure would be a 6/10 if it had braided hair as well. As of now, he's a bald Evil Dwarf.

Score: 5/5

Despite him being "evil", he and Santa Claus (go figure) belong to the same club, The Longbeard Society. They don't share much about their personal lives, they'd rather talk about grooming their beards and which anti-lice shampoo is the best.
