power plants boss they are converting to nuclear. base sa news they are constructing additional 20 reactors until 2020 and gradually making more reactors until coal and fuel power plants will be phased out. mao na gyud ila direction. so future is not bright for oil gyud.

well, we do not know...they know nga kung down ang oil, ma down man sad tanan...that's a fact jud hinoon. its just like committing suicide.

ang latest recession kay tungod nag oversupply ang oil sa market kay walay pu-as ug extract ang mga nasod, mao na nga ga limit ang mga OPEC og non-OPEC sa ilang output, and they are controlling it. sila ra may ga duwa2x ana karon, kay mga dagkung nasod man sad na sila.

It's highly unlikely ma phase out ang coal, especially sa Philippines. Currently there is a surge of new coal fired power plants being built here. This might be OT, but advanced chemical engineering make sure that pollution from new coal plants are diminished and more environmental friendly, according to international standards.

Plus, the Earth has enormous supply of coal. Oil might become cheap, but so far electricity cost may either stabilize or increase.

ang coal guro. i was refering to petrol man boss. and sa china which is the largest consumer of petroleum mao na maka cause silag shift sa petrol prices gyud. its not going to be pretty in a few years sa oil industry. china's government has the political will to do it. although other parts of the world there will still be demand.
