I don't understand how Midas Marquez father-in-law running the Medical City would make any difference here.
Just simply because he is connected with Midas Marquez doesn't necessarily mean the hospital can be manipulated to produce something favorable to corona albeit questionable in nature.

Sorry for the late reply. I'm not saying they tried to "manipulate" the hospital in coming out results that favors the CJ. But I know based on my experience in and around the medical profession that "things can be done." I hate to mention the word "manipulate" because it connotes an all negative meaning.

You have to understand that medical conditions are not exact science. I saw the medical bulletin myself and i can tell you straight that not all doctors will agree to what the CJ's physician had advised against attending the hearing..

Are you really sure of what you are talking about?
I have to admit that i have not followed religiously these case.
But was there ever a verdict that Gen. Angelo Reyes w as found guilty as charged?
The senate hearing was in aid of legislation as far as I can remember.

i think its pretty obvious he did that because he cant bare the guilt, and later commit suicide. he was about to be called sa senate at that time. the guy was taas noo, well respected. karon na bulilyaso mao hikog kay na uwaw. even a grader can understand why he did that

The prosecution is the last unwilling witness in this trial. They just proven that they are not after for the truth by insisting to cling on their own fabricated documents and refusing to use the CJ's waiver to see the original documents from the banks.

amlc just gave her the report. she was the one who reported it to the senate. its everyones responsibility to make sure what theyre saying in the senate is accurate or in other words, true and its not presumption and made up alligations. manumpa man gali na sila before mo testify. so yea shes responsible of her testimonies.

In other words, her testimony does not hold any weight as she does not have the competence to verify the accuracy or the correctness of the information.

@GTB- can i answer part of your comment? In my own pov, the problem lies on how the Ombudsman presented the report AND how it was interpreted by the viewing public. You have to add on how the CJ took advantage of the public's misconception. Actually nowhere in the Morales testimony could you find her saying the CJ had 82 active accounts in a single given time. It only mentioned an "accumulated" accounts from 2002? till 2010? It never mentioned the status of the accounts if its still active or closed..

I'm not defending Morales but i guess her reaction was just appropriate given the 3-hour tirade accusation against her by Corona... When Morales testified (as a witness by the defense), she didn't say that Corona is a thief or nagpapagamit kay Arroyo..
