IMO there's nothing wrong with recycling scenes....
some hollywood movies are also doing recycled footages....
remember the waterworld movie where it gets some footages in the mariner?
Disney movies(animated) are also doing this
this technique is called “video referencing”, it saves the studio money.
and besides THE ISLAND and PEARL HARBOR are all MICHEAL BAY's produced films...
and some said what bay does to this scenes were amazing...
because THE ISLAND is not a 3d movie unlike TRANSFORMERS where it is fully shot in 3d
so what the editors did, is converting the scene into 3d format FRAME BY FRAME,
This seems like a lot of effort for scenes that could have easily been shot at the time of filming.

yeah! the stylish visuals, explosives and special effects are f*ckn awesome! not just transformers franchise but his other movies too like bad boys 1 and 2, the rock, armageddon, pearl harbor ug uban pa. michael bay is one of the greatest director and movie maker of our time.

graphics, subject storyline is ok.

story itself is ok.

what makes it bore is the use of much talk that makes viewers loose interests.

i do consider to have the TF movie franchise stopped. para nako, it has no basis to have a sequel. as i've read on the opinions of the tf fans, what's the use of getting a part 4 nga nangamatay na man ang mga gahi sa decepticons. who's up for the villain for part 4, unicron? mangahilak si optimus prime ug megatron ug luha if that happens.

for a prequel, i think the idea is out of the picture. para nako, there's no need for it.

and speaking of rumors, jason statham for "transformers 4"? tan-aw na lang ko'g the transporter ani.

i've just read the movie adaptation comic over the net. it seems that daghan gyud lahi sa nahitabo nga wala gipakita sa movie like.. (MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD)

Mao ni nakabati kang michael bay, missing some important scenes. Sa TF1 kalit ra nadisappear c Barricade, i dont knw what the heck happened to that gangsta. Nya sa TF2 c willie pd nadisappear but good he's back on TF3 pero c mudflap og skidz pod ang nawala. Very inconcistent. I just assume nalang maybe the twins took a time-off and went back to cybertron. And also Jolt is missing.
