    Hi all!

To answer ruji's question and for everyone's information, this will be the way the manga cafe works:

    1. Browse through the collection
    2. When you find the books you want to read, head over to the person in charge (namely me) and fill up a rental slip and sign the waiver form
    3. Present a valid ID and pay the rental fee
    4. After payment, go to any free chair in the designated reading area and read to your heart's delight
    5. No time limit is given for your reading. You can read fast or slow, it doesn't matter
    6. After you've read the borrowed materials, just give them back to the person in charge of returned materials and he/she will check them (in case of damage)
    7. If everything check's out, your valid ID will be given back to you and you can browse through the library again or just check out the other presentations in the booth

Before you all give violent feedback regarding the need for a valid ID, please consider this:

The manga and magazines featured in the cafe are all part of a growing collection. It has taken us (okay me) years and a lot of money to collect each and everyone of them. Please treat them with respect. Some of the manga and magazines are no longer available and are very hard to find these days.

Asking for a valid ID is just a way of guaranteeing that the manga and magazines stay within the booth and do not get lost or get stolen. Although we place our trust in those who borrow, we still need to have something to hold on to if in case the items do get lost or stolen.

Feedback is welcome so that we can ammend the rules for borrowing if need be. Your opinions matter so let us know what you think.

Borrowing the manga and magazines is a first come, first serve basis. So come early if you want to read a lot.

    Ja ne~
