"29.73" is a new framerate? As far as I know, it's 29.97, or nagkabli imong keyboard?
It is 29.97 interlaced if it is reduced then pwedi ma 24 progressive or 23.976 (IVTC Film)

sound sampling "48Ghz" is think is TOO HIGH to the industry standards of 48kHz, or duol lang gyud ang G ug K key?
Ambot lang. the man has to come here and confirm this cos ako rang nahibaw-an MPEG 1 (which is 44.1 Ghz) pero diba 44.8 Ghz man tong MPEG2 (dvd)

4.) you required oscilloscope markings for submissions? So meaning akong i print out ang information for each FRAME? My film is about 20 minutes long, meaning 29.97fps X 60 sec/minute X 20minutes= 35964 data markings??!!
grabeha gud, di kaha mas dako ang bayran sa printing sa markings kaysa paghimo sa film?
Ayaw nalang gud cge pangaway gud! Anyway, CINEMANILA naman ka... besides that's National and maybe people without cable can watch your films. Ako wa man koi cable. Wa sad koi DSL... pero I can always go to NETOPIA and so upload your movies here:

international pa ni! PERO grabe na nuon ang compression sa imong masterpiece kai Quicktime naman na.

OT: hey, MrBiddle, try to keep your cussing to yourself.

    grabeha sa time travel.

actually, this project was put on hold.

however, SineBuano still accepts submissions for public screenings usually held at Handuraw.

....no technical requirements required. just a copy of your film for pre-screening.

    blimey!

Hilasa nako oi! sowee! wa man directed nimo ang posts, mrbiddle, anyway I tested out a theory based on some gathered data, truths and experience about the local filmaking scene. turns out mas wild pa gyud diay ang result. Cue=your reaction. yup I got much more than what i expected.

I must admit, I sounded so hilas, but I think it's the only way that I needed to know, I never regarded myself highly, I;m not even an international shiznit whatever.

think what you will, maayo man kaha ka, I expected more of you, personalay naman diay.

    hala go! LIPOSUCKZ!!!

I'll get back more on this kay katogon nako.

Pinoize2k4, sorry for the minor outburst and disruption. There was something at the tip of my mind that needs scratchin.

Hello People of the Philippines... it is I, George Lucas. I'm here to tell you, that with enough hard work you'll be bigger than HollyWood in no time. And to those people who are only good in talking... dont bother in making a film or trying to get yourselves recoginized. I PWN YOU ALL!

Seriously though.... hello people from Philippines. A friend of mine told me about this forum. I am an IFM from Cali on Vacation in Flip. Its been fun so far. FYI, do people from CEBU know that there's a Big Foot Internation Academy of Arts going on there? I think they're holding workshops... I dont see many people there.

BTW, Basing from what I understand from vanceloma's comments... I can already see that "blonkoy" is just using highfalutin words to intimidate other people. Which is not an uncommon thing in Forums. We call people like him "Mr. C&P". Mr. Copy and Paste. How I got to this conclusion is "BASING FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND" (I dont understand cebuwano or tagalog) I do not see any flaw in vancelomas info. Info like what vanceloma knows is something you acquire from owning the actual Camera. When you hold it, use it, play with it.... only then do you understand it.

    .......

vanceloma, does VICIOUS ring a bell to you? I know a vanceloma, he was an IFM from Flip that I met at Sundance 2004 over at Utah.... just wondering if thats you.

Hello People of the Philippines... it is I, George Lucas.
Hello my good man... you shouldn't have cut out Qui-Gon's scenes in Episode 3. That would have made excellent denouement to the recurring theme of a warrior's quest for the power to cheat death. Unfortunately for Anakin, it is accomplished through compassion n0t hate or greed.

Anyway, I wonder what is your basis for chroma-keying since there were both green and blue on the sets of your last prequel? (I read the MAKING OF book)

Actually Blongkoy owns the Panasonic AG-DVX100A which is the model that if I am n0t mistaken is commonly used by the guys at the International Academy of Film and Television... I think he also owns a DCR VX-1000 from Sony.

but at the risk of trying to flatter you, Mr. Lucas I believe your HD cameras beat them all prosumer MiniDV models. (Except for models like the HDR-FX1 MiniDV, also by Sony) do you own one of those beasts of cameras you use in shooting the last 2 prequels?

I wanna ask that because I read you forego your salary as a director but own all the dailies and negatives of your movies?

And also, has production began on one of those artfilms you wanted to make? Or are you gonna start taking on the TUSKEEGEE AIRMEN film?

FYI, do people from CEBU know that there's a Big Foot Internation Academy of Arts going on there? I think they're holding workshops... I dont see many people there.
That's because it is an expensive course and since workshops are workshops. It's impractical to attend since you're getting no diploma.... and you'd be spending the same amount of money it takes to buy a makeshift DV camcorder and a post production bay.

If one enrolls in any of their diploma courses this September, which costs 5000 U.S.D. then that money can be otherwise spent to buy a Canon XL-2, right?

theDominion: Welcome to iStorya.net. People in Cebu do know about the International Academy for Film and Television, but the main problem, as MrBiddle said, is the cost that one has to shell out in order to attend any of their courses.

vanceloma is also an IFM in cebu, he recently won .MOV's smart cuts.

since your in cebu, how about coffee sometime so we could exchange experiences in filmmaking?

MrBiddle: err..don't know how to break this but...he ain't george lucas.
